    For those who like Unarmed Combat, would you just not have a set item in the weapon slot? That would be a huge drawback.

    They would have to add some form of punching/kicking items.
    Think of it like brass knuckles

    I would also like to see a stam-based unarmed fighting skill line, if not as a weapon skill line then maybe as a "Guild" skill line.

    Spellcrafting? Has anyone thought about how to implement this without it being either:

    - underwhelming
    - restrictiv
    - overpowered
    - forcing a class overarching meta

    One way or another, this is bound to be a letdown.

    Personally, I want to see Class replaced by Spellcrafting.

    The Class system is restrictive and dictates endgame play based on decisions that are made at character creation. This is a terrible design philosophy that should have been abandoned in beta.

    If class is retained at all, it should be reduced to nothing more than 1 class-specific ability per magic school for beginners, with special visuals but similar functionality to an equivalent crafted spell.

    For example, with Templar, keep one of each:
    Destruction (Sun Fire, Solar Flare, Purifying Light, Radiant), Restoration (Ceremony, Healing Ritual, Cleansing Ritual), Conjuration (Sweeps, Shards), Alteration (Rune), Illusion (Eclipse)

    And so on. Every class has one skill per school worth keeping to start off new players that can't Spellcraft yet (and maybe a bit of roleplay flavor). But otherwise, the whole Class system needs to die a painful death.

    Personally, I want to see Class replaced by Spellcrafting.

    If ZOS had followed the Elder Scrolls model, instead of the MMO model, and made classes templates of skills rather than fixed skills, that is probably closer to where we would be today. It was debated as to why they did this. I think it is because they felt that people would find it too hard to build a character. Classes simplified things, but not enough, since now we have the advisor telling people what skills to invest in.

    Hand-to-hand skill line has always been apart of my experience in TES games. Without it, I can't pick any of the available classes and effectively play a monk archetype. It's absurd.

    What kind? I was told they have one or two of these in-game in certain zones. Unless you mean with a matchmaking feature. It would probably be built off of the already existing battleground feature in how it operates.

    I think he is talking about Active Skills and Ultimate Skills. As of now both the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood only have Passive Skills.

    I can imagine that it's partly of marketing (X amount of classes, new class with new chapter etc.) and partly for diversity. Didn't worked out so well with the latter but better than every DPS running the same set of crafted spells.

    noone uses. dueling between other players trying to do undaunted quests/daily crafting/trade seems to be "more cool" :D

    CP rework.

    I don't care what approach is taken, but what we have is too strong and too easy to misunderstand. the fact that it rounds down to whole percentages and still lets you "waste" points is stupid.

    I'd probably make it a series of unlocks which cost X number of points. "level 1 block cost reduction. 10 points, reduces block cost by 5%" or whatever.
    Then I'd add some more interesting ones other than just pure damage, like the wind-runner passive.
    100 points, get this cool thing.

    Get rid of the stat scaling for CP entirely.

    It just makes it easier to not have to put points into health.

    What I fear they will do is a repeat of what they did in the Imperial City DLC: raise the gear cap and only have the new materials/top level gear drop in the new Chapter territory. And no other meaningful additions; that will be the only thing they add to justify the "Chapter" label.

    I fear this too.... We all know that, like winter, raising the gear cap is coming...
