I consider the 5th bonus of this set trash:
    Kagrenac's Hope:
    Current:

(2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
(3 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(4 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(5 items) Decrease time to resurrect an ally by 25%. When you successfully resurrect an ally, you restore 1720 Magicka.
(5 items) Adds 222 Spell Damage

No one cares about the time to resurrect an ally.
ZOS can change Kagrenac's Hope 4th and 5th bonuses to the following and by doing so a new magicka sustain set with fine damage will be born:
    New:
    Kagrenac's Hope(craftable, 8 traits):
(4 items) Adds 833 Spell Critical
5 items: You are imbued with the hope of Kagrenac. When You deal damage, you have 10% chance to increase your magicka recovery by 350 for 10 seconds.
5 items: You are imbued with the hope of Kagrenac. When You deal damage, you have 10% chance to increase your spell damage by 400 for 10 seconds.

What? Kagrenac has been a staple in organized PVP and progression groups. It certainly has its place and is definitly not underused.

Well maybe some use it, but I still consider it's 5th bonus useless since most of the time the 25% faster resurrection isn't used.
The 25% faster resurrection is not making a lot of difference.
One can slot better sets and achieve much higher stats.

Umm, no. Kags is very very common in PVP. 25% res speed is very very strong when combined with templar and support passives. the stats are very good, and a bonus 5th piece spell damage to boot.

Anybody use TBS? For what activities?

Historically when I've seen people asking for that to be crafted, it's during the same periods that Mundus exploits are possible.

Adept rider. This set is so underused that it it was never used. By anyone. Ever. Most likely.

One of the guilds I'm in did an Adept Rider night in Cyrodiil last week. Wish I had attended, I like theme nights. I hope to see this set buffed some day to give us back the +30% mount speed that Cyrodiil's Ward used to have, even though I believe Swift trait is the reason that was taken away. A fellow can still hope though.

been using Ashen Grip for levelling. good stats all around, coupled with Innate Axiom. Especially when you want to level up your class skills, its just great. People say use Trainee set but ASHEN GRIP HAS FIRE BREATH. I mean cmon, fire breath? better than deathly winds >_>

Does this mean that people actually use Thunderbug's Carpace? Because I do on my tank when I quest etc.

(2 items) Adds 2975 Physical Resistance
(3 items) Adds 2975 Spell Resistance
(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(5 items) When you take Physical Damage, you have a 50% chance to deal 5160 Shock Damage in a 5 meter radius around you. This effect can occur once every 3 seconds.

The set is really neat when you don't do much damage and get pounded on a lot (dolmen, public dungeons and the like).
See, you actually use it. Proc sets is nice if you don't do much damage.
This is the opposite issue with many bis gears like old mechanical accuracy who require you to keep track of proc.
No you will not improve your one button parse using it.
Now dps gear for players who has problems with mudcrabs should probably be pinned :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

One can slot better sets and achieve much higher stats.

Only if you focus on the rezzing part and not the part where it's almost as much spell power as Julianos, but with a more well rounded 2-4

    Yes.
I proposed to change the 4th bonus too.
Also, the 5th bonuses I suggested would have changed the set to magicka sustain+good dps set rather than bad-low average dps+with supportive resurrection.
The 10% chance would have proc much more often due to it being calculated per every attack which inflicts damage the player is dealing.
There are too few magicka sustain sets and too few good magicka damage sets currently and what I have suggested was an hybrid of both :)

Your new kagranaces would be like old bone pirate but on steroids, the 10% chance means nothing if the duration is 10 seconds and it procs on all damage. You would also remove a set than many people have crafted with the expressed purpose of reducing rez time. As it stands right now, Kagranac the only crafted sets that people wear in trails.

You basically take a set and turn it into something completly different. It would be like changing vicious death to proc on your own death.

Yes what I proposed is to change the set entirely.
As to the 10% chance being a bit too strong, it can be changed to only proc on direct damage. Also, it can have a cooldown like: This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Nah...we good with Krag's the way it is...actually only crafted set that is run in our progression group...we have a rezplar for our vAS +1 progression...

Very underused set is Oblivion Edge

(2 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical

(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage

(4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery

(5 items) When killing an enemy, fill an empty Soul Gem and heal self for 1720.

(5 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage

I put it on whenever I have to farm something...usually fill a thousand empty soul gems in like half hour- 45 minutes...

Duneripper's Scales, because Fortified Brass is serving the same niche and is just MUCH better, and it's a crafted set too.

(3 items) Adds 4% Healing Taken
(4 items) Adds 4% Healing Taken
(5 items) While blocking, increase Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 4300

    Fortified Brass:

Do you PVP? I use Kags on my Templar at the moment. Combined with the Cyrodiil rez passives and the Templar’s rez passives, you get people up SUPER fast. It can make the difference between your group/zerg wiping and turning the tide.

    ^^^ That.

With all those passives cranking away, the rez-plar hits that issue where if you don’t stand up immediately upon getting the prompt then the next res fails.

During mid year I put kags, fort brass and chudan on my pve healer. That, plus light armor shield and the siege shield morph plus reviving barrier and many people could not stand back up fast enough.

I'm using it on my magplar tank. Templars have no HP scaling self heals, so the spell damage isn't wasted. And despite what people say, 8% reduced damage taken is the same as 8% more HP AND 8% more healing taken. In that sense the 5p bonus is better than that of Warrior-Poet (10% more HP). Though since Summerset one can get this buff pretty much for free with Temporal Guard (made that setup prior to that), so I guess Akaviri Dragonguard or Black Rose might be better options now if I shift more points from max. mag to max. HP.

To be honest I am running it as part of my stam DK's first vet PvE build. I've never bothered with a stam DPS toon before, and it was actually part of Gilliam's pve dps 'beginner' setup. Hunding's/Ashen/Selene's, ok till I get the proper set up.
