best example.. Star Wars online. After I played 30 days, I asked for a refund because I wasn't going to subscribe and I felt cheated by all the glitches and obviously undeveloped gaming. I had crash after crash. Amazon refunded my full price the same day I asked them to.
They have been way above and beyond any online retailer I've ever dealt with. Blaming them for Zenimax not giving them the number of copies they said they would or on time is just silly.
Your anger should be with Zenimax/distributors... your recourse is with Amazon. You are actually lucky there.. because they will actually respond to you.
I'm also in this boat, all they need to do is extend the grace period until we get our copies or fix it so we don't lose preorder bonuses if we buy a digital copy.
This doesn't really affect me, but it's pretty clear that Zenimax needs to extend early access. If they don't, I see a lot of cancelled orders coming their way.
so...Amazon says est delv tues now...I wonder if as people cancel their Amazon box edition if it will free up more and deliver sooner?

I preordered feb 2nd just to be told only today they are out of stock. CE edition had limited numbers, if they are out, they arent getting more. So for people like me, were screwed.

I have been on the phone with Amazon and they are saying this is the publishers fault, and ESO is telling me this is Amazons fault. Great Job ESO for freezing the accounts on customers that chose to buy the most expensive copy of this game and are put here buy no fault of there own! I really hope that ESO provides a better update other than "You're SOL"

I sure hope that that isn't true. I really don't think that it is. However, if it is in fact Zenimax's stance on the issue, and they could care less, I'm not interested in supporting them anymore. No matter how much I love this game, I'll take my $60/month subs (4*15) somewhere else.
Interesting @Reignskream . I called them and got someone in the states (remember to always ask for a rep in the US, btw) and they said they are working on the issue but can't guarantee the orders will be able to be filled at all.
