How many Crowns-only homes have you bought?

It really comes down to a combination of the 800 item limit and the lack of a wayshrine for leaving a house.

Without a larger item limit giant crown only homes are just frustrating for the owners as they constantly are up against it trying to remove stuff to get things to look less empty. I don't have this problem in my presently cluttered middle size house and I don't really want to have the problem.

Without a wayshrine out I find the big, and always remotely located, houses less than ideal as well. It is quite convenient to have my place right in Rawl where I can enter and exit where I want to be anyway. I'm not really looking to buy an extra load screen with my house and pay a premium for it to boot.

I would consider the possibility of a crown house in the future, but only if these massive inherent problems with them were remedied. It would also be good to have fully functional bankers, fences, and merchants in them along with crafting writ and writ turn in stations. Right now it just looks like buying headaches to me.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

Would have been none if it hadn't been for a far too generous saint of a friend that split the bill with me and then kindly refusing my offer to split the house the same way.

    Certainly won't buy another.

Game servers are still crap after all these years. Why should I pay for a home with real money on a laggy server?

They're grossly overpriced, but I still bought one (Princely Dawnlight Palace). Housing is one of my favourite aspects of the game, and the crown store houses are so much more detailed than the base game ones.

In real life I live in and know how to renovate small, compact spaces. Huge mansions are something I have a lot of trouble with decorating in games, due to lack of experience in living in large, expansive places irl. Seeing as the crown-only properties are often huge estates I..I just get lost in the thought of it.

I bought one, then I regretted it straight away as I had some crowns building up and thought "Oh I can get one of those" when I sat down with myself and went over the real cost of it in real money, I slapped myself.

......Fool of Took! Not going to buy another with the cost of them at the moment.

Way too expensive. I don't even visit the homes I bought with gold, unless I'm using them for a quick travel somewhere else. :-/

Also, not enough slots on any house. Why can't I stuff it all full of my things?!? Why is there such a low limit?

All the Crown Store homes are too large, I wish they would make smaller homes too. Just look at the most popular house mods for Skyrim, most of cozy them are medium sized homes

I bought the island, and it's been a nice relaxing place to craft, store furnishings, and hang out. It's a bit too large to really decorate and do anything useful in, especially since you can't ride a mount.

I do own a lot of the gold houses, both as decoration sites and free ports.

So far all the other paid houses have not been necessary to my lifestyle, but the ship harbor looks tempting.

Why spend such a high price for a house with such incredible limits.

Those who purchase these mega-houses can't even fully furnish them.

For these prices, ZoS owes the owners their own larger instances.

I feel sorry for people who spent $150+ on a house and the only thing they can stick in it is a ragged box, straw basket, and a bed.

The Vivec City room is good enough for me, since all I use housing for is the free porting there from anywhere in the world. The only MMO that I've played in which housing was meaningful was Archeage. Since the houses aren't instanced there, it's nice to walk around the neighborhoods checking out other people's houses and gardens. I'm not much into furnishing private doll houses, but it's nice that there's such an option in the game for those who like doing it.

The housing feature has been in the game for more than a year, but I have yet to buy a single house. I have only acquired the 3 free apartments available in the base game, and later, the 2 from the DLCs. mostly because I couldn't find an utility for them, as I had craft stations and practice dummy at guild houses. So a total of 5 rooms that I have yet to use. I tried placing the storage chests in them but they don't fit. I will probably buy a house later specifically for the purpose of placing those in it. Which is the cheapest one that has room for all 8?

I never have that many crowns at once....i sub and i would need to not buy anything else for nearly a year to get one of those crown-only houses, and sadly the ones that I would want always pop up at a time when there is zero chances of buying extra crowns. Which I will do if somone gives me one of those prepaid credit cards as gift around the holidays...

I don’t like large empty spaces that cause me to lag. No population, no interaction, can’t even set up a mount obstacle course. They are missing everything I would want. Let me place more people, animals, and mini games and then they’d be attractive.

If they released this: a ship docked in the shallows off a major port city that you get to by engaging a small row boat, then I’d pay for it.

Or this: a treehouse like the one in Grahtwood where you engage a ladder to enter it.

Or this: a glen with a cave opening just deep enough to set up a permanent hunters refuge.
