I really cannot believe all these people trying to take things from everyone else because they don't like it/gambled and lost.
More options = good.
Let people have nice things.

But bare with me here, what we get in 15 crown crates would never in a million years equate to 5k crowns in the crowns store as standard items..

Character customization is important to a lot of people. Sometimes even more than playable content. It may not be tangible value, but you can't play a character for days and days and not get a little bit emotionally attached to him or her. That connection lasts after the last dungeon is conquered and the last town is saved. But bare with me here, what we get in 15 crown crates would never in a million years equate to 5k crowns in the crowns store as standard items..
And yet you won't pull out a piece of paper and a pencil and itemize it all to back that up with evidence.
There are certainly diminishing returns where the gem return isn't valued as competitively as getting a brand-new item. But by then you're making a conscious decision to either stop buying crates, or commit to going until you hit a radiant apex.
Also - bear with me. Bare means something quite different.
I don't need to itemize anything its plain and simple what you get in 15 crown crates is vastly more than what 5k crowns on items would give..

My apologies. I read that as you were saying they wouldn't add up to at least 5k.
But I still invite those who feel they're getting ripped off to keep a ledger of their crate rewards and to assign crown values based around the existing crown store listings. Generally you'll have 200 to 400 crowns worth of consumables across three cards, and a superior or higher level item card that is worth at least 200 crowns.
There's a difference between getting ripped off and having unrealistic expectations. The former is empirical math, and the latter is emotional math. Knowing versus feeling.

I had to settle on the normal flame wolf with gems. I think a compromise is put a higher price for crowns on the direct buying and keep the crown crates if you want to gamble and maybe get something you want and spend your gems if you didn’t
