The way they hand out AP now, 65 million is nothing.
I'd like to have all the vet trial achievements and skins without working for them. Should they nerf the trials for the sake of achievements? Also, Master Angler but I find fishing boring so just increase the drop rate of fish.
Dumbing them down just makes those achievements meaningless.

I look at the difference between my PVP skill/experience and that of the Grand Overlords I know personally. I've got a long way to go.
Sounds about right to me.
The majority of GOs are just 24/7 players running in a ball group rolling over PUGs. Has nothing to do with knowledge of the game or "skill". For an average player, spending a few hours a week in Cyrodiil ( like 5-10 and that's probably already on the higher end ), GO is still basically unachievable, no matter how skilled he is.

If someone manages to play PVP all the way to 64 million AP and doesn't have some sort of skill at PVP (even if that's just being really good at zerg-surfing and being there to leech ticks), I'd be impressed.
Its hard to do that much of something, and not learn anything.
But as I said, when I look at the skill and experience of the Grand Overlords I know personally, I know I've got a long way to go. And yeah, some of that is just the sheer hours they've put into PVP.
Skill takes practice. Practice takes hours. There's no way around that.

I will recognize that there are people who have gotten there, however I will also recognize they probably use every boost and opportunity to maximize gain they can, even the bugs that used to exist.
But for me? In the last two years I've only earned 7 million. I will NEVER unlock everything no matter how long I play.

"Only" four hours a day for a year straight...Was that irony or do you really not realize how far removed that is from a normal player ?
Note that I'm not even advocating that the requirements be lowered, all I'm saying is that the vast majority of players still won't ever get the title no matter the recent AP gain adjustments and unlike some posters in this thread are insinuating, them "filthy casuals" will certainly not just pick it up along the way.
