✭✭✭✭✭Yeah, they drop crappy items, but you can exchange those crappy items for something you want... For example, those Pyandonean motifs if you want to save some gold. Or you can just keep them for the next crown season.

It is hands down and without a doubt insulting to anyone that pays for a crown crate. The free ones like the twitch drop ones are fine, but the pay to roll crates should not be able to have duplicates within one crate.1 -

They arent rigged. This is how they work. They are Twitch Crates, the intent is for people to be awarded these for watching Twitch Streams. The only things in them is trash drops like these, Twitch Emotes and a very rare chance at a Mount and Pet. Obviously they arent going to just hand out the Emotes, Mount and Pet with every Twitch Crate, since they want to motivate you to tune in as often as possible. 1.) They host them when they decide to host them. Currently theyre trying to reach players that dont even cross over into areas of Twitch where they would be exposed to ESO. So if you want the Twitch Crates, check out any number of Streamers that arent known for ESO gameplay.
2.) Thats like your opinion, man. While I could get behind the idea, if they ran them 24/7 its unlikely it would be very long before most people would get what they wanted from the crates and stop tuning in. The point is to drag out the viewership for as long as possible. Im personally not a fan of their methods, but its not like this wasnt researched before implication.
3.) It is not rigged when that is the vast majority of what is in the crates. I'm beginning to thing I need to contact Twitch and actually see if my name was sent in only once or if more than once and ZOS is only giving me a single crate.
I didn't even watch any of the twitch event, don't even have an account with them. I got 2 on my NA and 1 on the EU side of my ESO account.

Not quite.
The paid ESO purchases from Twitch award Twitch crates. Those include one Twitch emote or Twitch badge, and one Ouroboros crate containing consumables and rarely the Scarlet Regret collectibles.
The free promotional drops only award the Ouroboros crate.
So to avoid confusion, Twitch and Ouroboros should not be used as synonyms.signing off0 -

The Twitch emotes and Ouroboros badge aren't in the Ouroboros crates. There's actually two different crates. Twitch crates occur on their server and have nothing to do with ESO's system, except that it contains an Ouroboros Crate, the badge, and some additional goodies including emotes. The Ouroboros Crate is what you see in ESO, and behaves like a crown crate, but with only two durable prizes.0 -

In that sense no different from normal crates. I'm almost at the point where I'll stop buying any because I get so tired of getting scrolls as my epic or legendary reward. This time round only bought one pack.
Still these are freebies so no complaints and more gems means more choices when something nice does turn up.
