I had already become bored of the grind of logging in every day just to earn a reward or a crate, and eventually the steam log in issues solved the problem for me. Once i had not logged in a few times had some early nights lol! and played other games - currently playing rimworld - thhen i realised i could cancel Eso plus and use the money, or not, on other stuff. I cancelled my eso plus early this month and havent considered logging back in. I just feel that the game is extremely repetetive with a lack of truely challenging content for solo players, i would prefer lots of unique things in each region, and I was very unhappy to hear how grindy it was to get the Psciic skill line (sorry for spelling), and after nearly 400 hours in under 6 months i needed a break!
- Technical issues, mainly in PvP (lag, loadng screens, stupid proc sets)
- Other games i want to play (witcher 3, battlefront 2 and a few more)
- Bored of the game... yeah there is stuff to do. But i want to PvP and it's broken. PvE is boring but i do like an occasionally dungeon/trial
- Guild politics. I am in a great guild. But the guildleader is mostly not online. I miss him and the fun PvP raids we had as a guild
- Lonely, no friends to play: All my friends/family already left the game. The few guildies i hang out te most also don't log in anymore. I like all other people also but i feel like a stranger most of the time
- Busy with IRL: I am fat and need to loose some weight so i have to go to exercise. Also I have to travel 2.5 hours to my work and 2.5 hours back to home. So time i have little
- Breaks are healthy,
- Other: Sometimes i just want a day without computers because at work i already sit all day in front of monitor

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."
Nerfs and people constantly crying nerf. I wish everyone crying about PvP would get perma ban from the forums.
Yes, some valuable feedback would be lost, but 99% of it is not valuable at all. It's just bads demanding everyone to be forcibly brought down to their level.
Took one long ESO break because I was studying a term abroad, then when I was back at home after 6 months, I was a bit unmotivated to log back in, and busy with university, so I didn't play for another 3-4 months.
During the last weeks I took a few 5-6-days long breaks simply because it's summer and the weather is just too good to sit inside the apartment.
So for me, it's mostly the "busy with real life" factor that made me take breaks so far, I still don't get bored with ESO.
I haven't actually taken a full break for over a year, but I am playing verrry casually right now. Most of the time I just log in to do crafting dailies on a few characters, check the crown store, buy new luxury furniture each weekend, and sometimes do some surveys, all out of habit. The new chapter has given me stuff to do but I'm taking my time with it.
