Got hit for a 17k overload light attack today

    Snipe isn’t even an ultimate.

    I tried a well fitted build once (low impen) and I got hit with a 19K leap once. Should we nerf that too?

    I guess you have not tried the asylum bow ganking.

    Well i will copy past my suggestion from one of the hundred of " Nerf overload " thread.

    " I really do not understand how they can nerf that without destroying the whole Ultimate.

    These sorc play without any survavibility, with full damage set and witht the worst sustain ever seen in Cyrodiil. They don't have a single shield on their Overload bar, for full damage ( Crystal blast, Bound armement, Inner light, rune cage, pet ) They also have a lower stamina pool, this mean you can CC them and kill them easily. What would be the point of this build if they nerf the damage ? Between, I'm pretty sure there is a lot of ultimate that can hit hard ( unavoidable, and faster ) if you build all arround damage like these overload sorc did.

    Anyway, With all these nerf Overload thread they will probably nerf the sorc, maybe they should change the whole ultimate instead ? or Balance Overload ? Or maybe Both ?

    Power Overload
    -Change it, so you could still do your rotation and swap bar, and each light attack with a weapon would consume ultimates and deal additional damage ( like elemental weapons) until you run out or toggle off the ultimate, or make it deplete ultimate every 2 sec, so it only work with a good weaving.
    Charge your fists weapons with the power of the storm, Light attacks become Lightning bolts dealing X additional damage, and your heavy attacks blast enemies in target area near the target for X additional damage. Both attacks restores 300 magicka ( this would help with sustain a bit ) Attacks deplete Ultimate until you run out or the ability is toggled off. you can not gain ultimate while using this ultimate.

    Energy Overload
    - Keep it as it is " Charge your fists ect..." but reduce the damage, and increase the time travel,
    - Or Make The auditive clue more noticeable, you know, something that you can not miss, like the old jorvuld sound (but for the storm). if you don't pay attention to it you would deserve to be ganked. This would be fair.

    But they can't just " Nerf the damage ", if you think that, then you should really L2P or use one of these suggestions:
    • Change your CP ?
    • Change your Mundus ?
    • Slot a Burst heal ?

    Because ZOS dev logic. They’ll either make overload useless, or they’ll nerf crystal frags again or something. I didn’t say their reaction will ever make sense.

    It’s like they have a dart board with Sorc skills on it. Got a complaint? Throw a dart and change that!
