I don't mind the ones that actually do it right when you just need to login once to click yes, but the ones that make you literally watch it 24/7 no thanks.

No one is forcing you to watch it 24/7, I personally am gonna open a twitch tab of streamers and have it muted for free crates

so... you want me? the user. to go off onto another site, to watch someone else play the game instead of contributing to the games current population and not participate in the game or possibly using the crown store so i can go watch twitch... for free stuff...?
do you not see the problem with that?
if someone dedicates more time to free stuff from twitch they arent playing the game, lowering the amount of people currently playing and risking selling crowns to said players because why play if you want us to watch?

This is kind of the whole problem with having a "rewarding Twitch experience"... it just gets exploited for the rewards: Elder Scrolls Legends (Card game) has this system as well, and yes as suggested multiple times already players just keep Twitch tabs open in the background and ignore them while letting free rewards roll in.
... I'm really not sure why it's being integrated here, when the vast majority aren't even watching the content in ESL. Does Twitch still get $ for AFK viewers or something?
Also the Crate rewards are literally "consumables" + an ultra rare mount + an ultra rare pet. I guess people will be gaining ~4 gems a crate at best. Playing the slots in real life would probably be more fun.
Ambassadors are ambassadors because they're recognised for being helpful members of the community. We can also take community issues to the community team a little faster, however our opinions are always our own.Rain_Greyraven wrote: »Open a stream in a browser tab, mute the browser tab (not the stream), it thinks you're watching, go about your day playing ESO.N0TPLAYER2 wrote: »I already play 8 hrs a day. No way I’m gonna start watching eso on twitch for a “chance” to “win” a specific crown crate. No thanks.
If they really feel this is going to boost their twitch viewers, and have people buy crowns through twitch, I’m sorry but I believe they’re sadly mistaken.
Also, only making these “winnable” isn’t helping. People should get 1 for each stream at least.
The whole concept is just ridiculous.
Unless some how this doesn't work?Sadly cosmetics are a big part of what people enjoy about games and more and more of them are being moved to requiring money or doing tasks which are not actually playing the game.As a Twitch regular I like the sound of this. Plus at the end of the day it’s just cosmetics.
I have to ask Turelus and no offense...but is crying about the business model incessantly like a prerequisite of being a Community Ambassador? I ask because it seems to me like that is yours and Santies MO (Well that and getting death threats in game by paws members for the high crime of riding a Legendary apex mount) Not trying to be inflammatory here...it's a serious question, because Ambassador means representative....and very little you say represents me or anyone in my guild for that matter.
There's uBlock Origin available on like all browsers. So good luck.Transairion wrote: »No one is forcing you to watch it 24/7, I personally am gonna open a twitch tab of streamers and have it muted for free crates

If there are ads - twitch makes money.
So I bought the game, then bought morrowind and the gold edition before getting plus. I also preordered summerset. Then I got my wife the preorder and plus. That's $40/month for me now. Then I see this and get a twitch account only to find out that us console users get neglected yet again. Can we please get something first for once? Is that too much to ask? We also need morrowind fixed on xbox and the unholy chat issues. When I group it shouldn't change my chat channel and kill all chats when I try to change back. Where's our love?
