What is next crown crate scratch offs on bags of Doritos?
Millions of people watch other people play sports when they could be playing the sports themselves instead. How is this any different?
I guess I will never understand the concept of being rewarded to watch someone play a game I own, rather than enticing me to just spend my time playing the game myself. How does me spending my free time watching a streamer play the game, instead of spending that time playing the game myself, help the game maker?
I mean, I know it is a thing. My nephew will watch others play a game for hours but has zero interest playing the game himself. It’s just odd.
Ambassadors are ambassadors because they're recognised for being helpful members of the community. We can also take community issues to the community team a little faster, however our opinions are always our own.Rain_Greyraven wrote: »Open a stream in a browser tab, mute the browser tab (not the stream), it thinks you're watching, go about your day playing ESO.N0TPLAYER2 wrote: »I already play 8 hrs a day. No way I’m gonna start watching eso on twitch for a “chance” to “win” a specific crown crate. No thanks.
If they really feel this is going to boost their twitch viewers, and have people buy crowns through twitch, I’m sorry but I believe they’re sadly mistaken.
Also, only making these “winnable” isn’t helping. People should get 1 for each stream at least.
The whole concept is just ridiculous.
Unless some how this doesn't work?Sadly cosmetics are a big part of what people enjoy about games and more and more of them are being moved to requiring money or doing tasks which are not actually playing the game.As a Twitch regular I like the sound of this. Plus at the end of the day it’s just cosmetics.
I have to ask Turelus and no offense...but is crying about the business model incessantly like a prerequisite of being a Community Ambassador? I ask because it seems to me like that is yours and Santies MO (Well that and getting death threats in game by paws members for the high crime of riding a Legendary apex mount) Not trying to be inflammatory here...it's a serious question, because Ambassador means representative....and very little you say represents me or anyone in my guild for that matter.
For example im normally called a ZOS endorsed troll, ZOS paid White Knight etc. because I debate with people in defence of ZOS.
I just speak my opinions on issues as I always have done. I don't claim to represent anyone else's view unless they've expressed that to me.
IB4 someone links a quote of me where I did that at some point.

No chance of getting it in a loot box, it is freely given. That's incentive. By locking it behind PC and loot boxes you exclude a huge console community. I personally would have paid $50 in crowns just to have the mount it self on ps4. Huge disappointment.
Because matching a twitch Prime loot doesn't give incentive to be in a stream, just to have twitch Prime.

I'll take a free chance to win a pretty mount when I watch the ESO livestreems (which I surely expect to be included) on twitch. I'll also take a free one when I renew my eso plus.
I'll save my complaints for bad decisions on balancing, scaling, and things that actually effect my fun in a negative way.
Because it's not a harmless collaboration.Aside from the fact that the Twitch drops will be... crown crates (seriously?), I fail to see the big problem some people discovered in this harmless collaboration.

This is designed to increase viewership to the advertisements which are posted on Twitch.
It's amazing how much people are willing to give up over a digital potion.

I ain't sure if you only play on console but your signature says xbox na if do you this offer isn't for us console players so don't waste your time
Wait what? What did I just read?? Is it April Fools again??
So basically everyone will start leaving their computers/phones on while they're away in order to qualify for these. And of course to create false numbers of viewers and hours watched no doubt. I seriously don't think this is a good idea.

So console doesn't even get to participate?
Well that makes it easy for me

People already did this on twitch, for virtually every consistent streamer there is. Before I left for work I left my computer on with 5 streams open, 3 from twitch 2 from mixer.
