No way. Here I draw the line. And I'll not have any REGRET (scarlet or not)
Actually, you lose quite a bit, but don't feel bad. Most people don't understand what's going on behind the scenes.Rain_Greyraven wrote: »I watch the ESO channel anyway so...I lose nothing by linking my account even if it is RNG.

If they really feel this is going to boost their twitch viewers, and have people buy crowns through twitch, I’m sorry but I believe they’re sadly mistaken.
Also, only making these “winnable” isn’t helping. People should get 1 for each stream at least.
The whole concept is just ridiculous.
Unless some how this doesn't work?Sadly cosmetics are a big part of what people enjoy about games and more and more of them are being moved to requiring money or doing tasks which are not actually playing the game.As a Twitch regular I like the sound of this. Plus at the end of the day it’s just cosmetics.
I have to ask @Turelus and no offense...but is crying about the business model incessantly like a prerequisite of being a Community Ambassador? I ask because it seems to me like that is yours and Santies MO (Well that and death threats in game by paws members for the high crime of riding a Legendary apex mount) Not trying to be inflammatory here...it's a serious question, because Ambassador means representative....and very little you say represents me or anyone in my guild for that matter.

Nothing's wrong with promoting the game through twitch but to have a reward system based on being online 24/7 or on your phone 24/7 just defeats the purpose of advertisement tbh.
As a streamer, I'm not interested in my channel getting a bunch of lurkers simply because they want to receive free stuff.
My post was more of a rhetorical statement but I found your response to be in line with my thoughts. Glad to see I'm not the only one.Rain_Greyraven wrote: »
I can only give my perception of things.....
These days anything that is monetized is automatically evil, I find it silly, yet some folks get homicidal rage if something isn't given to them for free and right now.
That outrage however doesn't seem to have cut into Zenimax's profits though (Considering their equity is up from 2.1 billion to 3.2 Billion from last year and their employee number has grown to just over 1500 people ) which means that their business model is working phenomenally, despite 15-20 perpetually outraged posters.
The hard truth is that ESO is a wildly popular MMO, and it really doesn't have much competition on the horizon, and the business model isn't changing anytime soon, and all tantrums in the world isn't going to change that

Nope the harassment is quite real, my guilds GM had a really eye opening youtube video on it that unfortunately got pulled because the threats showed were so graphic, personally Iv'e only had two idiots following me around shouting paws slogans and threatening me....but I know of a few folks who have actually left the game over it.
Yes it silly and pathetic, and I'm not really sure what Zenimax could do about it, but it does represent just how toxic the community is.

What is 'paws'? Google didn't help me.
Why in the hell is this only available for pc/mac players people on console should get the same opportunity this is both dumb and a joke

Part of this promotion is due to be detailed later, and is not necessarily fully fleshed out yet. This is just the first announcement we've seen of the main collaboration with twitch.

No chance of getting it in a loot box, it is freely given. That's incentive. By locking it behind PC and loot boxes you exclude a huge console community. I personally would have paid $50 in crowns just to have the mount it self on ps4. Huge disappointment.
