If you can fit it, cauterize on front bar might be a bit better to get major crit on front bar.

Are you not using major sorcery or do you chug spell power pots? Awesome stuff guys

@Subversus
I should do some test to find out exactly how much I gain or lose by doing that. Julianos would give me extra crit and extra magicka, but will that increase the damage of all my skills enough to completely replace the damage of a DoT? When I get some motivation I'll test it out, but for now I'm too lazy and this setup works well, haha.
@LeifErickson
I love it. I slotted Coag again last week to test it out for a few hours and I don't miss it. Of course there are times when I would live with Coag slotted, and it does make repositioning easier, but if I can be real disciplined with Burning Embers before every Mist Form then the only situation where it would be be super useful is vs siege, which doesn't happen too often.
Especially with combustion changed to give resources when burning procs next update.@yodased

BSW should outperform rattlecage and it adds a unique burning DoT. I think those two factors combined should make it superior
@Lexxypwns @Kartalin
That is all perfectly true, but what skill do I drop? I don't think I can properly express how attached I am to my skill setup on this build, they are just all so good.
Your replies are making me consider going 5xBSW 5xRattlecage 2xSkoria and just dropping Wizard's Riposte completely.

BSW burning proc isn’t proc’ing combustion is it?WillhelmBlack wrote: »@Lexxypwns @Kartalin

Next update BSW actually becomes your sustain set. I'm dropping Lich for it.

Cauterize is very underrated, wish it was an actual hot instead of the pseudoburst, but it does well to top me off and save mag.

Last i checked it was. But that was the first pts
This is not your typical tank and gank or tank and bomb combo. We are both in high DPS brawler style builds just diving head first into out numbered fights! Was pretty much my first ever duo, had a massive amount of fun!

I run two 5 piece sets:
Shacklebreaker + Wizard’s Riposte
Running Wizard’s Riposte in a duo while the other member is also running Wizard’s Riposte was kinda useless, but it’s just what I usually run.
I run Master’s Infero and Maelstrom Resto backbar. Next patch, I’m going to switch to Willpower Resto, for extra max magicka.
Front: Piercing Mark, Funnel Health, Merciless Resolve, Flame Reach, Impale. Incap or Meteor for ult, dependin what I’m doing
Back: Harness Magicka, Mirage, Degeneration, Healing Ward, Cloak. Resto Ult (the one that gives major force and protection).
Last time I posted a magblade pvp build I got hated on.
I know I got maelstrom resto without mutagen, but oh well.
We are obviously super professional PvP'ers.havingacow wrote: »Running Wizard’s Riposte in a duo while the other member is also running Wizard’s Riposte was kinda useless, but it’s just what I usually run.
