a centralized crafting hub and everything is close together and its confirmed that the writ turn in is going to be right outside! crafters rejoice. heres to hoping the traders and the wayshrine will be right outside.

Heres some suggestions on how to Improve so that the crafting hub is more convenient and doesn't die at launch:

Id like to see these changes to wayshrines, and banker locations as vivec city has it beat in convenient proximity
pjpewad4epef.png

Compared to vivec city, it still needs some work to make it better

ga186aw6a1zr.png

Move the wayshrine to where the crafting writ boards currently are, the wayshrine proximity is important in if a crafting hub is convenient or not
6t6onftiv130.png

move the crafting writs to the entrance so that the wayshrine can take their place
gbbxehd9dou8.png

Add more guild traders to the entrance, so that this hub can also be a popular trading destination
lf8jk4cv7sox.png

Also add a stable master near the crafting hub, even cooler if you make it a gryphon rider stable master

lastly... please add a banker near the trade hub as the current location is too far

This is locked behind Chapter content, though. That lessens the population significantly.

Not everyone will buy it. Rawkla is base game. Wayshire is not close enough to stations and guild traders and stables. We still have people in craglorn doing writs. People are creatures of habbit. At most it just moves population a bit.

they will eventually become part of eso plus and eventually base game if it follows morrowinds pattern

I agree with you on most everything, @Aliyavana ... but it’s going to take a lot of successful chapter purchases to get any sort of population over to Alinor.

Vivec City already did this. All traders, crafting stations, and a super convenient outdoor bank are right next to the wayshrine. It's a top-5 trader spot, but hasn't come close to Rawl'kha and Mournhold because it's a DLC zone with less traffic.

That's good, but to me it actually looks like stations are to far apart in avil unless I can turn in that same area.

vivecs is located in a ugly construction site, and is slightly less packed together compared to this which is more conveniant

The Alinor crafting circle isn't anywhere near a wayshrine though. And we don't know where the bank is, which is crucial.

how do you guys know if its not near the wayshrine tho? hopefully enough feedback is given to change that tho if that's the truth, vivec city has two wayshrines with one near the crafting and one near the dailies

I didn't see one in any of the videos. But looking at the map in the following video (9:41), it does appear there is a wayshrine inside the city (I thought it was only in front). Not sure how long it would take to walk from it to the crafting stations. Hopefully not long. And hopefully the traders and bank will be nearby.

i usually craft in belkarth, eldenroot, and auridon; r/k is just a place i hang out and use the bank, fence, merchant, etc and it's next to sleek creek, so i'll always go there.

as lovely as alinor may be, it's likely to be a lagfest for a while, once summerset goes live.

Just watching them run down that hall way at the start kills it for me. If there isn't a wayshrine right beside it and a bank inside it, it's not going to be better than Rawl or Vivec. Also, if there is no affordable good home to be purchased very close, then that's another killer. If the guild traders aren't right by the shrine and crafting area, then that's yet another killer.
