But I don't mind either, that's just how it is. Worm Cult is obviously the main drop, but there are many other motifs in it that I need parts of and the other rewards definately make up for it.Auri-El is my lord,

Like the crates we arent meant to complete the collection, just get a bite of it so we will buy the complete book for 5k crowns. Just you wait. At first i was relieved at the seemingly common droprate and thought this would be a cool little event with a nice reward
I really feel shafted knowing i cannot complete the collection, knowing whenever i open the lorejournal the 4/14 will forever haunt me.
Just makes me disappointed and sad if anything. The rewards should be reasonable to obtain.
Now, before you jump at me saying "why u want free handout?" ill say this, i am fine with the Buoyant Armiger droprate from chests. I am fine in general with low droprates if i can take my time and obtain the item eventually.
This is not the case
Worm Cult will be gone in 9 days, and after that its either too bad duck off or pay us 5k crowns.

But after farming a few more boxes, you realise the drop rate turns to less than 8% and all you get is junk, then you feel you got trolled by rng and it’s a serious addiction bait like gambling. That's not a good feeling to have after opening nearly 100 boxes. Nevermind farming extras to sell, which should be a bonus incentive for people who throw themselves into the event.
So yeah, more would be good.

I've seen tons of daggers, I myself have 2 sets of swords and a set of daggers.. since my main is a mage its a bit depressing.
I wanted this to be another Hollowjack but after what.. 2/3 days? I'm losing hope.

Though more broadly I'm sad for the players that really want it and are stuck with time limited RNG.1 -

I have to grind a tun to get mottifs and achievements and CP and gear that I want for my characters.. I really don't like that now they are setting up the holiday events to do that same thing as my every day plans.
I look forward to the holiday events so that I can do something different and get some goodies with LESS pain from the RNG god.. Instead it seems like they made the RNG worse

I could see them giving players who log in and do a certain amount of daily quests per day 1 page of the Worm cult book. That way players log in to join the fun, but not lose sleep over it.
So far I have played as much as I can in the past two days ((without staying home from my job)).. and only got 1 Wormcult motiff..

I however was more happy with my Akaviri Staves and Chests

On PC/EU, I got 3 WC pages out of the 19 boxes that I opened on the first day. "That's fantastic! What a great drop rate!"
On my home server of PC/NA, I got 7 WC pages out of 514 boxes. On the second day of the event, I opened 140 boxes and got zero motifs.
Is the drop rate high? Or low? I don't know. But I don't think it's a good idea to tailor the drop rates of a motif for someone like me; I'm all but certain that the average player will not be opening anywhere near the number of boxes that I open.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU
