I think the drops should he more even because it seems you are either getting tons of pages or almost none.

I think the drop rate should at most be doubled. Just a little increase in drop rate so those doing a lot of daily farming feel like they are being rewarded & have a few extra to sell or give to friends

Yea I feel the same, initially it’s dropped like hollowjack rate, then after a few it’s dropped to armiger chest hunting in vvardenfell rate.

I've gotten 3 already and haven't really been pushing the farm very hard. I have no doubt I'll have the set or enough dupes to trade for the set by the end of the event.

I'm currently worried that I won't be able to finish the full set by the end of the event. That's not a good feeling to have after opening nearly 100 boxes. Nevermind farming extras to sell, which should be a bonus incentive for people who throw themselves into the event.

So yeah, more would be good.

The drop rate on the first day for me seemed good. I farmed over 100 boxes, got four Worm pieces. But since then it has been a 1/4 of that, and it feels very bait-and-switchy.

I think the rate could be better. There's really no reason to have super rare motifs. It's not giving anyone a gameplay advantage.

I've gotten 3 in 3 days. Which is just as 'common' as any other motif I've gotten.... I've got 3 Ashlander, 3 Mazzatun, and 1-2 of 13 other styles. So Worm Cult isn't terribly "rarer" or "commoner" than the others.

Besides that, I've no feelings on how rare or common it should be in the first place. /shrug

With only WC and two other motifs being of use to me (have all others complete), I would like to get more of them than the two in ~150 boxes I got so far...

I’m getting tons of pages for styles I already know and very few worm cult. Is the intent to flood the market and devalue all of the older styles to make worm cult the new buoyant arminger?

I've gotten 3 in a little under 300 boxes. I know some people are getting quite a bit more of them, so we'll see how it evens out over time, but I'm leaning towards believing this is just a little too rare atm. People should be able to get the motif without having to do 50 quests on 15 characters a day.

This is where I am right now. I've opened over 300 boxes and I've had 3 Worm Cult motifs. That's ridiculous, considering the amount of time I'm putting into this. I will not be able to sustain what I'm doing for very long, so I will be buying what motifs I'm missing.

This is painful, frustrating, and just not worth my time.

They should be slightly more common. They don't seem to have any particular edge in drop rate over any other motifs and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense given this is the only event they're available in.

They are simply too rare to be available for such a short window. I don't want them to be common, but if after two days I seriously doubt I'll complete the motif, that's bad design.

I've had nine pages so far, including 2 dups. But that is from about 400 boxes, which I guess is way more than most players will have managed to do. I'm happy with what I've got, and I'm fairly confident I'll get the complete motif. I find it impossible to judge from my own experience what other players will get and how they will feel about it.

Honestly....reading about the drop rate on the forums, I haven't even bothered trying to farm the event. I would love to have this motif. But I don't want to spend the event period frantically trying to get them. I did that with the Jester's Festival event they just ran, and it sucked. It was awful. I'll use the cake, get the XP boost, and just play the game as I usually do.

As far as i can tell ~2% drochance. average it needs 45~60 drops to complete a motif. thats 2250 ~ 3000 boxes.

14(?) days of event -> 160 ~ 214 boxs per day needed. at 40 dailies/char maximum (not sure if that limit is correct, pulled from other thread) thats 4~5 chars per day nonstop grinding.

Personally i consider that motif fugly, thus only reason to get is to complete collection. will prolly complete in 2020.

Rare stuff is cool, when getting it is an actual achievement (e.g. Master Angler, Explorer, Flawless and the likes) and not a lucky roll of dice during a mindless grind.

Yup, I also concluded that it would be hard to complete the motif by the end of the event with the rate of drops I was getting. There are 3 of 4 days of the event that I can't play. So I decided that I didn't want to deal with worrying about it and just bought the 12 pages I didnt have. Found a chest motif that someone had to have mispriced cause it was so low. I can make the gold I spent back easier and probably faster too.

I have only received 2 pages out of nearly 270 boxes. At this rate, there is no way I will have it all learned ever. I can't be buying it at the prices it is being sold for either. Which isn't anyone else's problem. Just saying I wasn't exactly prepared to not complete it lol.

I never really expected to complete the motif if I didn't get the book. I have banked the six I have so far. If I get most of the pages by the end of the event, I may buy the rest. Will depend on how much I will have to pay.

If I finish the festival with fewer than ten pages, mine will be for sale next month.

busting my ass off farming boxes (60+ so far) and so far only gotten 1 motif...and it was for celestial bows...which I already know..so having the drop rate on motifs not take the absolute *** would be rather nice

1 motif.. 200 boxes. That box was my very first one. I only have time to do the Writs on 8 toons during the week with work. At this rate I won't be able to get the entire set. As an anniversary item, it should be possible to get all motifs from the Worm cult style in the event period because once it's over that's it. Anything left and you need to fork out couple hundred thousand gold that some people just don't have the time to farm items and sell to make. Hell, right now it seems no one knows what to list them for so people are listing them for 7K that get sniped up instantly and resold for 100K+.

Got 4 drops on first day and didn't really play first day. I also feel like there's some sort of internal cooldown. At last though seems like so far at least for me it is a better balance then over flood of skinchanger.
