As someone whos been hunting for Light Kena shoulders for ages, yes. So much yes.

I think we should be able to trade undaunted keys for vma weapons.

You'd think that, and yet in my attempts to acquire a singular Valkyn Skoria shoulder piece I have been given 3 troll king, 5 tremorscale, 2 stormfist, 14 Nerine'eth, 26 Grothdarr, 11 Iceheart and 47 Ilambris pieces (i'm keeping note of every drop i get from an undautned chest and these are the numbers as of today)
So as you can see, it's not a matter of getting sets.. it's a matter of getting the right bloody pieces due to RNG *** decided to screw you over

as for the ones for sale at the vendor, never the right ones.. and not even close to my price range.

Sorry OP but IMO there are WAY worse grinds that should be taken care of first (**cough cough** vMA weapons). Undaunted keys are really easy to obtain, especially if you have multiple characters. I'm sitting on nearly 200 keys atm just from casually doing pledges with friends and guildies.

Sounds like you've just had a run of bad luck on getting Valkyn shoulders, and I do feel your pain on that. I must have at least 10 of maelstrom inferno and frost staves each, but I've yet to see a single lightning staff. RNG is a fickle mistress. Just be happy that your grind involves variety, instead of the same exact solo instance over and over and over while never obtaining what you desire.

Do you know how easy it is now to get your pairs? Now you have these "tokens", before it was much harder to get all the stuff. I don't see the point why you shouldn't farm as much as we all have farmed for weeks/months to get our stuff. It's still a lot RNG, I agree, but it's easier now. And you still have something to do. Btw: it's not a big loss, if you don't have best in slot gear (like the undaunted shoulders + helmet), so much more important is your rotation.

This idea is interesting and in this forum are a lot of threads with suggestions for undaunted Ultimates (I even made some in the german forums in 2014), but yeah it's the problem with every skill: It has to be good balanced. Maybe that's the reason because nothing happens for this ultimate yet. Although I would love an Undaunted Ultimate, which supports the group, as the undaunted are a group of fighters who work together.

I've never really had bad rng with undaunted chests but I know a lot of people who do
