Rather expensive thought

OK so I've found out that the fwc in alliance pvp zone has a set limit of 20 rezz's only. Yes it cost like 20,000 AP. Yet also one siege repair kit can bring it back to health. Althought i've found out it is pointless to use the siege repair kit on the fwc as it has the "set 20 res" . Better to just buy another fwc. (That's rather expensive)

Here are my thoughts on that.

Not using broke as in the sense of OP but the exact reverse of that thought as in, needs a fix or new carpenter or new coding to allow the following.


Considering that if the fwc gets attacked outside the keep it burns rather quickly, and it rather expensive. Logically unless you have a standby god to protect the fwc it's going to go and you can't stop that. However inside the keep, when its cut off from ressing to the shrine; Why not let the siege repair kit: reset the ressing amount, as it gets repaired.

In my OPINION, this will make for more interesting defenses and more interesting fights when someone is trying to siege the keep.

Just an idea is all.

    Ah, I remember the days when forward camps were as common as dirt... and all the awful shenannigans that caused (-cough- bloodports, bloodports everywhere!), to the point where the powers that be banned them entirely from cyrodil for a rework, thus giving us the current ones.

    I say, its fine as it is , sustained sieges -should- come at a hefty cost. Othewise we will be back where PvP was three years ago...

    FCs should be fragile, and if people don't want to bother playing defense because it's a situation they can't farm, well, burn FC burn.

    Camps are a menace. Whenever you think youve finally cleared out that Destro Ult ball group from your back keep, only to see them all Res and realize one of them had cloaked and ran off to put a camp down. Then the ball just comes right back for more farming.

    Or when the same groups plop them on top of the Alessia bridge tower, digging them in like ticks.

    Yes it is annoying.

    I guess what I should be saying is the siege repair kit shouldnt' be useable on the fwc? then? I mean it is worthless to try and do a repair on the fwc as squishy as they already are.

    I mean...lets say we can reset the rez amount with the siege camp to keep it going on rez. The thing is it gets found pretty quickly and is easily destroyed already. I mean I see how soft these camps are.

    I only brought this up because I am new. I sat there once after buying a fwc aka siege camp and was using my siege repair kit on it only because 20 people hadn't rezed through it yet. This was on the inside of the keep. Then someone tells me. The amount of time I take to try and keep that fwc up for everyone will be to long as it doesn't take too long entirely to get through the keep door on an organized group.

    It's good to use them on a serious zerg. To protect the keep and all. Maybe my view will change as I play longer.

    They are good how they are, when you start FC are expensive, a bit more PvP and you will have millions of AP without alot to spend then on, you will worry less about this.

    Unlimited camps would be a challenge right now on a busy campaign its about right, burn the camp quick and they are forced back to the next keep they own, or you can cut them off etc

    Yeah it was more fun back then. Before we ended up with PVP horse riding simulator. Unfortunately a couple of rotten apples ruined it for every one. Placing camps in obscure places on the map and preventing you from putting a camp down when you needed it. ZoS's solution. Rather than punishing the culprits, they punished everyone by taking the camps out of the game.

    I would not mind all the "mindless" horse riding if we got something out of it other than tedium. Dumb Tamriel, where having fun is a crime.

    forward camps are great - keep the party going...

    my only frustration is when some ally starts burning a forward camp that our side has completely surrounded...

    much better to wait for a minute to see what new guests make an appearance at the camp and then we can all properly welcome them back, and, then send them on their way again :D

    had an weird fight, I and an small pug group was defending Nikel, an a bit larger pug was attacking us, they had breached the wall but was to few and unorganized to exploit this so they wiped over and over, has to thank them for all the pets into the breach to let us recharge ultimates however.
    Think they must have used close to 20 camps. Ended then an small group hit them in the rear and took out the camp after a wipe.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    They do cost 20,000 AP but they are also given in rewards for the worthy and if you are serious about PVP then I would presume you are sitting a pretty good pile. I PVP maybe 20% and have 10+/- in my bank. They can shift a battle and should cost an amount that off sets the utility.
