I hate to admit this one, but: tier 5 Imperial Daggers are accessible via the outfit system.

Maybe it's time to give us access to the tier 5 styles? Maybe as a bonus from having motif master or Cadwell's Silver.

Account Wide Motif's for the Outfitting System?

I know 47 styles completely. Of course with the issue of logging in with copied characters I am not able to test this yet on my original characters, so I made a Dragonbones Template character. I've not used any of the boxes or anything yet, expected that it would know my 47 motifs I have on my account but it only sees imperial style. (See screenshot)

Is this a bug with it actually recognizing the motifs known on the account or possibly just an issue with the Dragonbones Template or possibly something else?

That's normal behavior, particularly when something is updated. You need to actually log in on the character with that knowledge before it unlocks. You can test this by logging into multiple non-CR characters, and collecting their known styles on the sheet.

You can see that dyes and other similar unlocks work the same way.

I went on the PTS to try the new system out for myself but noticed something very bad. Based on how ridiculous it seems I believe it to be a bug.

Using the dye all option increases the cost in gold to be much higher than it would be to normally dye each of the same slots manually.

In this first image you can see it only costs 1,350 Gold to apply, mind that I also have dual wield weapons.
    fxw6tavhd0w9.png

However in the second image via using the dye all option the price is increased to 4,500 Gold for seemingly no reason.
    e2hn8egxv82z.png

I will be using /bug to report this as well. This certainly does not seem intentional and if it is then I can tell you right now it is a very poor choice.

Posted it in the other thread: there's a bug with weapons occasionally displaying the non-outfit style.
    HoloYoitsu wrote: »
Sometimes after equiping/unequiping gear or changing things in the dye station, the "outfit" style for the wep bar you are on just disappears for the weapon. Some of the time bar swapping around a few times fixes it, but mostly you have to unequip and equip again.

This bug does not happen w/ the gear slots, just the weapons.

    A few things to note;
The t5 of High Elf daggers is available, i forgot to check the other racial options.

There needs to be some way to sheath your weapon. After dyeing it, it remains unsheathed, even when I go back to working on the rest of the outfit, which made it much more difficult to see properly.

The color tiles for the new material dyes are...only mildly accurate. These new dyes have some of the broadest variety based on material being dyed of any other dye I have yet unlocked (which is a fair amount). I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, I just know I got some very varied results when using them on an outfit.

The "hide helment" option, and I believe the other slots as well, seem to count as collectibles, but despite being available, are still listed as not collected. This leave helms (and the others) at one less than complete, if youve gotten all other motifs. It may be somewhat OCD of me to be bothered by this, but as someone who almost compulsively gets new motifs the moment they come out, it bothers me that the counter of unlocked styles will never be completed because of this.

    General feedback:
The system itself is quite robust. I was pleasantly surprised by the easy to understand UI and process for making an outfit.

That being said, I am a bit disappointed in a few things.
The "Hide" option for slots really needs to be hide down to skin, not hide outfit piece to show equipped gear. Not only is it redundant (the same function is available by simply not putting anything into an outfit slot) but it is not at all intuitive. The Helmet "Hide" option actually hides the helmet, nothing is shown if that option is selected. Yet for every other slot, the "Hide" option servers no additional purpose.
Please just make all the "Hide" options function the same as the helm; by using it, you appear as though nothing is equipped in that slot. So "Hide Chest" will make you barechested/wearing your bra, etc with pants, gloves, boots, belt, shoulders.
I am not sure why this isn't already done, to be quite honest. There are already costumes that reveal your characters body despite armor being worn (Dark Shaman, Bathers Towel) So why is the outfit system not giving us the same freedom?

Similarly, I am a bit disappointed that more options arent present for hiding some of the hip/waist nonsense. Tassets are a huge problem in my eyes, and judging by the threads about them, I am not alone. Some of them are just comically oversized, floating, cause clipping issues with equipped weapons etc. Not to mention a lot of them cause issues when you are looking to mix and match motifs, as the outfit system seems to encourage.
Please also consider adding an option to disable tassets and maybe even the crotch flaps as well, though I am less bothered by those than the tassets.

All in all I am less disappointed than I thought I would be, if nothing else this makes for a great method of trying out different looks without having to craft a metric ton of junk you just need to deconstruct afterwards, losing materials in the process.

I would really love to see this system launch with a bit more flexibility than it currently has though, and I am sure it sounds conceited and entitled as heck, and I am sorry for that. Much as I love ESO and the variety of looks and armors, some of the limitations on this first iteration of the Outfit system are really disappointing and missing a great opportunity to address some of the more longstanding issues people have had with the style of armors.

Just use the button to sheathe weapon you normally use and it will sheathe the weapon.

Of course, it doesn't change that this probably shouldn't be happening anyhow, but ATM it's easy to fix.

Setting up a sweet outfit this bug (extra epaulettes between legs) occured when looking through the available heavy boots, particularly when I selected the Silken Ring Sabatons. This hasn't occured with other boots yet. The Apparel combo is

    Shoulders: Mercenary - Heavy
    Chest: Ebony - Light
Arms: Order of the Hour - Heavy
    Belt: Militant Ordinator - Heavy

One minor issue: if you try to name an outfit such as "Bjorn's Ranger Outfit", the apostrophe in the middle converts to inverted commas and the name becomes Bjorn"s Ranger Outfit. Which is rather annoying.

One big problem: Am I extremely unobservant, or are Outfit Change Tokens simply not in the game right now? I tried to purchase one with my PTS Crowns and I couldn't find them anywhere in the Crown Store. I searched the Store, and then checked each category manually, and they were simply not there. I did not see this listed in the Known Issues section of the PTS Patch Notes.

    Outfit:
Discarding changes in regards to armor only seems to work one at a time. In the event that you leave the Outfit station without saving changes, you still lose the appearance of all armor selected, but the Outfit UI still remembers all the choices minus 1 (In accordance to clearing one selection at a time).
    No Outfit:
There is also an Error Window that pops up if you try to swap weapons in the UI. This only occurring if an outfit has not been swapped to in the Outfit UI. Once the player has swapped to an outfit (not even needing to apply it, or interact in any way, shape or form with the UI past swapping to Outfit 1), it causes this error to cease for this instance. Logging out, then back in causes the error to re-appear, as well as using /reloadui.

When previewing bows in the outfit station, once you select a new bow appearance, the arrow style with said bow stays locked on the weapon during all previews regardless of which styles you select afterwards.

Not sure if it's a bug or intentional, but it appears that scaling on numerous shoulders has changed, making several different styles seem to float, or be larger or smaller than they are in the current live game.
Abah's Watch Medium Shoulders seem to be the biggest victim of this.

    Have another bug:
    - first morph swords into maces,
    - name outfit, save and pay gold.
    - then enter outfit station and apply a color/dye to the weapons
    - pay gold and exit station.

The weapons will glitch out randomly (mostly when bar swapping constantly) and revert back to red-swords.
Confirmed this happening with staff too.

In regards to outfits losing their effects on weapons, re-equipping weapons refreshes the outfit, restoring the desired appearance.

Also, weapon outfits are dependent on primary/secondary bar. Unknown if intentional.
e.g. Set two-handed primary bar to Soul Shriven Greatsword, swap to secondary bar: two-handed weapon does not look like Soul Shriven Greatsword. Set secondary bar to Bloodforge Greatsword. Any two-handed weapon on the primary bar now appears as Soul Shriven Greatsword while any two-handed weapon on the secondary bar appears as Bloodforge Greatsword.
This applies to other weapon slots.

I have an odd bug...when I switch my weapon set to my dual-wield, I can only make changes to the offhand weapon and main weapon did not show as even existing/no slot. Similarly, while I can change my bow, the icon for the bow itself does not show.

    EDIT:

Re-logged on to PTS to take a screenshot to post here, and this time the error did NOT occur. So, if anyone is having this issue, quit out of the game, relog, and try again? Sorry that I couldn't get a screenshot the first time it happened.

I will be using /bug to report this as well. This certainly does not seem intentional and if it is then I can tell you right now it is a very poor choice.

I suspect that the game creates additional slots for weapons you're not wearing. Specifically that there's six slots for primary and secondary. With the paint can option you dye every slot, including the 10-18 you're not using and can't see.

This is not for Outfit system, but it's related, and Idk if it's already solved:

Thieves Guild staff is poorly placed, placing way above other styles, on hand and on my back.

    Let's see a comparison:

    This is Outlaw staff:

    Ch5lwui.png

and this is thieves guild staff:

    hY9Bkfo.png

You can see that Thieves guild staff is placing higher than Outlaw's.

Now let's see on my hands:

Outlaw staff on hand, with Might of The Guild (mages guild buff) on:

    zgF8wnC.png

Might of The Guild buff always shines on the "symbol" of the staff, of any style.

But not on the thieves guild staff:

    1eRZGfK.png

You can see that the length above the hand is way longer than the length of Outlaw staff (and any other staff really). Also, the Might of the Guild buff is placing under the staff's "logo".

    ____________________

Also, light/medium Outlaw style shoulders are floating above my actual shoulders.

    Proof for light shoulders.

    p5QUPGh.jpg

I don't have the proof for medium because I already dismantled it, and I'm not sure if the same happens to heavy Outlaw shoulders.

    __

I didn't see both issues getting solved on any patch note so far, so
