No offense to the russian people, but I think its time you guys adapt more to the rest of the world. I live in the netherlands, and dont get a dutch translation either (nor do I want to but thats a different story).

So, it is time to gitgud and learn some English, whilst enjoying this great game.
P.S. On EU server I see more and more Russian language in zone chat, however, most of them are horrible players...
We poles make our own translation!
I suppose you never read any books translated to Dutch and always watch movies without subtitles. You are also a staunch proponent of removing the German and French versions of the game because they're a waste of time and resources. In fact, you oppose any and all translation of art and entertainment because it's quite unnecessary; after all, everyone in the world has access to high-quality education and speaks fluent English. No offense to the russian people, but I think its time you guys adapt more to the rest of the world. However, it would be much better if we've got an official translation. Russian, Polish, Portugues, Spanish are popular european languages just like German and French are.
I wonder why the game that published world-wide still has 3 languages support only?

Honestly, I don't know why languages other than English even exist.

In regard to the Russian language posts on this thread, I think it would help if the Russian posters actually translated the Russian portion of their posts into English. Perhaps one of the more fluent English speakers among them could do it. I'm sure the mods would appreciate it.

every single post in this thread with russian text in it - has English translation already added (English text you see is a translation of Russian text). granted, OP's translation is likely something off google translate, since a few words are off. but.. you can still get the gist of it.

I bet you met a lot of Russian players, but didn't get it, because they spoke in English. Don't judge the whole nation by black sheep. You see, I'm Russian... but players think that I'm French more often.duendology wrote: »One of the reasons I don't play on EU server... rude and obnoxious Russian players..
I've got bad experience from other mmos
Sorry, but you are wrong. There are plenty of outstanding translations, which you most likely have missed, because of the conformation bias effect, I suppose. Keep in mind that it's almost impossible to translate from one language to another without losing existing in the original text associative context. Sometimes particular context doesn't even exist in the language to which you trying to translate something. The most obvious example is a wordplay, or an idiom, or whatever else exclusive any language have.my russian is a bit rusty, but out of curiosity and to torture myself, I listened to some of the official localizations on youtube. the horror, the atrocity, the shame.... best case scenario - official translation will be roughly the same quality as the fan mod, but most likely, just like OP - they will push it through google translate and not even double check if translation is good. at least mod makers have a stake in a quality as players themselves. and PTS gives them an opportunity to get started on translations in advance of official release.

(и всё же я считаю, что перевод игры на другие языки, в том числе русский, нужен. Достаточно только качественный перевод текста. Финансовые затраты в любом случае окупятся. Эта игра ведь не на пару месяцев, а на годы...)
Indeed we have rueso to use, and sometimes it's good for quests translations, because there are some nice guys that know Russian grammar and stylistics but tooltips for skills and sets are just terrible lol

An outrageous bluff, but I'm afraid it won't work on me.

yes and I'm one of them. my post has one paragraph in russian and another in english. they are the same text in 2 languages. OP's post is the same - english and russian version of the same text
and so are the rest of the posts with one exception where one sentence is addressed specifically to OP and not directly translated - it goes something like "I wish they would translated, but apparently they have forgotten about russians, polish and spanish - which is not to dissimilar from a sentiment expressed earlier in that same reply. so please. do try again. I. Don't. BLUFF.
Please no! 1 cever russian on 99 not clever because they have russian client... no. please, no
