I mean... The current issue I have with end game PvE is that there is very little incentive to participate in it

I'm at a point where all I have to do now is trials for gear to do vet trials for titles.
Other than rolling a new toon and questing.....again. Or doing PvP I feel there is nothing to do end game.
Any thoughts
Gear is so not the endgame in PvE. It's only the precursor. Plus the gear is pretty easy to get, as it should be, since gear is the means to an end, not the end itself.
The endgame is trials progression. Vet Craglorns, then vAS +0, then the Craglorn HMs, then vMoL, vHoF, vAS +1. Then vHoF "HM", then vMoL HM, and finally vAS +2.
And once you have cleared all those, then it's about score.
You still have a long ways to go--you have barely started the endgame. You absolutely need to join an endgame trials guild, however. That is not optional if you want to participate in endgame PvE.

There actually plenty to do endgame just not what you consider "endgame". Every thing in this game can be done from the beginning to the end. This concept of "endgame" does not make sense for this game. Now there is 30 dungeons, 6 trials, and 2 arenas but this is the only thing you consider endgame than this is not the game for you. What about fishing, crafting, collecting motifs, trading, stealing and fencing, dalies, fighting world bosses, housing, chilling with guildies, role-playing, and exploring. These are things you can do at endgame along with questing, dungeons, trials and also pvp . All of these things have achievements. If you have done all of these than I suggest you take a break but if you chose not even consider the other as things to do in endgame. I suggest you rephrase your topic in that this game does does not have enough trials and dungeons for you.

The order you said the trials in doesn't really matter, when the trials themselves are a means to an end, because the end, as in the reward for doing the trials, is gear...gold jewellery in this case.Darkonflare15 wrote: »Stinkyremy wrote: »We are seriously lacking in end game PvE content.

I think you misunderstand what the term endgame means in an MMO.
It means the content you are doing, or have to do at max level.
FYI I am tamrial hero have done every quest, have every skill point (other than full PvP rank) Master crafter, know all motifs (including the two crown motifs)
All I have left to do is:
Level PvP rank
Vdsa
Dailies for in game achievements
Random in game achievements like lightbringer, maiq and give to the poor
Vet trials HM and speed runs for in game achievements and titles (which require a guild)
A few slayer achievements for vet dungeons
Learn a few low level purple recepies
Learn furniture diagrams for in game achievements
Fishing for in game achievements
Buying houses for in game achievements
As you can see, most of these things to do are only for in game achievements and titles, which are pointless.
I have all the gear I need atm, so anything I can do at endgame is just for pointless endeavours. No reward or real progress.
I guess taking a break for a few months might be a good thing

No not done trials HM yet. I don't have a trials guild either I have just pug grouped for trials.
I actually still have vDSA to do as well.

It's lacking.
Okay hooray you've beaten Hard Mode MoL, Asylum, HoF, then what?
There's no incentive to even run for score because there is no reward for being in the Top X.
It's all bragging rights and measuring your e-p's.

Luckily ZOS decided to bring in No Death + Hardmode achievements (and cool titles) which guess what that usually translates for: top X scores. There is your incentive. It's lacking.

But end game content lacking, I can't tell if you are serious?
At a point after Sanctum there was a gap where there was no content at all for a year -- that was terrible times where most players ended up leaving because of stale gameplay.
As for end game content;
Leaderboard Based Content: Sanctum, AA, HRC, VMOL, HOF, Asylum, DSA, Maelstrom Arena
Dungeons: 24 base dungeons + Veteran and Normal versions, 7 DLC based dungeons
Going for titles in the dungeons and trials are pretty time consuming also, with the addition of No Death + Hardmode achievements which is very nice
Not to mention all DLC zones I will count as end game as they have came out a while after launch and keep coming out
DLC: Thieves Guild, Wrothgar, Dark Brotherhood, Clockwork City, Morrowind
I don't know how you can say there is no end game content compared to that year we had nothing new added, from everything I added there is well over countless hours of gameplay and they are ahead of the content now so by the time you are almost done another comes out.
