But as American, you do not belong on the EU server and vice-versa
Wait what? I must have missed that memo, please post a link where ZOS states this ...

Not to mention (American here)I actually (no offense) originally moved my PC Character to PS4 NA; with that one time transfer move. But it's because I made friends from Destiny, whom are from EU. Is why I went to PS4 EU, to play with my Destiny friends on DC, originally.

Ever since my Destiny friends quit playing ESO, I have stayed on EU and still really. Enjoy my time playing on EU even it's my 2+yrs doing so. As well as:

    1. Lag: I honestly thought it be much playable for me to play NA. But trying on NA after a yr later of me being on EU. However it seem not the case. Due to me having same lag from EU to NA. In which both are Unplayable at times and I decided I not want to restart everything on NA.Why should I, if I have same problem especially all my hard work I put on my EU Characters?

    2. Languages: I'm so used to languages from United States. Many different languages are spoken where I live, around me. Not to mention different cultures that live around my in my community. For example where I live, City of Wapato, Washington. Home to 4 different languages that are spoken, possibly 5 which not listed. https://www.wapato-city.org

Some may say us. Americans don't have a right for us, Americans to play on EU and vice versa. I respect that point to certain extent, however I would say you are respectively mistaken. In which yes I could still stay on NA servers and keep learning the other languages that are spoken near me.

I however ask why can't I also do the same on EU server as well as me learning on my own time. Around me where I currently live on my spare time?

There are so many languages that are not spoken where I live (except for 4, "possibly 5 not listed" in the link above) The rest are spoken on EU. I also don't live in New York (where so many languages from EU side, are mostly spoken. 1 example, French)

However Whilst playing on 3 different alliances on EU, in span of 2 years (before One Tameril and I mostly PvP) To present (2+ yrs) I have learned so many things, from my EU friends. From there different cultures as well as some words that I have learned. (28 words in French and alphabet, learning some German also, from friends and via translation through Google Translate) Maybe someday hopefully I can gather what I learned and carry over for my future.

Those are my main 2 examples of I (American) love and will continue to play on EU server and not on NA. (least not any time soon)Before I began to close. I want to add, I lost 8 friends from both DC and EP, not to mention making a EP Guild mad at me in Haderus (I did warn before hand, plus also was campaign reset when I did it. Not to mention writing and sending 7 pages of a apology letter to guild, But at time I had a guild of my own. "Warden's of Tameril" Only 3 PvPers at time but they wished to stay AD. So in a way campaign reset time is why I lost some friends and made A EP Guild mad at me in Haderus.

In conclusion, do I regret playing on EU and not on NA Servers? No I'm honestly not and I'm still very happy to play on EU, even more so. I have grown attached to EU community on PS4. May they be enemies or friends it not matter. I'm honestly glad to play on EU server, whilst I'm also a American doing so.

Not to mention I believe ZOS does play on both servers as well. Even if they are from different backgrounds and cultures. It’s ZOS decision to lock both NA and EU server or not. Even if we play on different time zones, I truly believe. ZOS don't think we whom play on different time zones and not from said country as the servers are. Not hurting anything.

A side note: I don't like using term "American" and or other terms reflecting others country. I believe no matter where we live, no matter what country and or culture. It honestly don't matter where we are from. We all should be treated equally, not to mention it's our game. We can play which Server we wish to play.

But only if we are allowed to. Which ZOS allows us in ESO. But since I am an American and response was mainly towards American's. (which I totally understand ) Even though I don't like using the term "American" I was forced to use the term, no offense since I am also an American, not to say the least. This ends my thoughts and have a wonderful day.

is a means to better keep track of "actual effort" you put forth
See this is exactly where this always gets murky.

Have you ever noticed that every single player who whines about "night capping" is always talking about how *they* put in a lot more effort than anyone else and thus deserve special treatment?

No, I haven't noticed that. Let's put it to the test:

Nightcapping is a plight upon this game's PvP. Which is why I don't put in any effort into helping out my fellow EP on Sotha Sil.

    That wasn't so difficult.

Nope. Have not noticed. You just claim that all players do that and quite frankly out of thin air.

Are you sure that is popcorn?
