Look at this: very effective way to farm wouldn't you say?

I didn't know you could farm this way, it looks really effective way to farm scraps, just north of Riften. I also admire people that can stand the test of time when grinding. I wanted to join their group but unfortunately I got no answers from whispering them

This is on EU server.

UPDATE: Okay so people informed me these look like bots being controlled automatically by a program so here are the ticket numbers for the reports:

Also an effective way to bot, which could be the reason you got no replies. If you see a group of players running in a perfectly straight line and they have gibberish names, that's a dead giveaway to a botting farm.

oh ok. well they are still there (and have been since at least yesterday) so I went in now and reported them all. Will be interesting to see if they continue to be there in the coming days.

If you took note of the ticket numbers you can always post them in this thread as well in case anyone at ZOS takes a look and can check them faster.

I actually had suspicions at first this was just a multiboxer, you know, that actually played the characters. But I can see now that it must be both a bot program controlling them all automatically and the owner owns all accounts and let them farm 24/7 while he sleeps, goes to work etc. I guess this will make it easier for him to get millions of gold.... why is ZOS allowing this to happen? How hard would it be for them to have an employee check once in a while on these locations to see if someone was botting there? This guy is there all the time it seems, so ZOS just needed to spend 1 minute everyday to check locations and they would able to instantly spot the botter and could just permaban and delete their accounts?

Please note you don't have to grab all the characters in the zerg. One or two names is enough. Just note in the report the approximate number in the group.

They pretty much do. The problem is that it is so easy to buy new accounts with stolen credit cards / hijack genuine player accounts / etc that the botters just set up new characters pretty much immediately. It's a big game of whack-a-mole.

All you can do is report them if you see them, and move on.

I bet a lot of those stolen credit cards/accounts are from people who bought gold or accounts from 3rd parties. Cheaters begat more cheaters.

What ZoS has said in the past is that they investigate based on the volume of tickets submitted. Which makes sense, you go after what's annoying the most people first.

What server are you on? The Rift is basically my home region and I've never seen this pack before. (Sorry if you mentioned it, I didn't see it).

Oh no not that place again!

If it is where I think it is, it is also a quest location that you have to kill NPCs to pick up their special drop to complete a Zone Story Quest.

It is bad enough with just real player grinders, killing the drop NPCs in a circle.

And I'm about to quit. Market prices are dropping again after the DLC being out just 2 weeks. That's an awful long time to live with crap income. Can't afford to buy anything as it's all too expesive bc ZOS is forcing us to pay real money instead. I can't even think of anything I'd find fun in game right now.

There ya go ZOS - bots, all the income you need. Drive the real players away, we can't afford to give you enough money.

BOT Scanner 2000 addon works great to rack em and stack em! Just point and click and you have them all. Reports are easily filled for you and click to send.

Yeah bruv, not sure if you were being tongue in cheek with the post... But those are clearly bots lmao!

I see em all over Shadowfen, near the first Dolmen outside the Stormhold. Usually 5-8 of them running the same rotation.
Oh. All sorcs too. Why are all the bots I see sorcs? Is it the pet?

yeah, these guys were in a straighter line than some high school bands that I've seen <g>...Upper St. Bot, High School Marching Bots...
