So I thought people might want to know of a really good instanced place that got can easily farm skulls as soon as the cool down expires. In the mage's staff instance in Crafton there is a mini gauntlet of 3 bosses. What you can do is kill the first boss for a skull and then either die to one of the adds that the boss spawns or die to the second boss. This causes the bosses to reset allowing you to kill the first boss again when the 3ish minutes are up.

Well, it takes a bit longer between bosses if you run solo ...
I timed FG1 and i can comfortably solo the dungeon in 15 minutes. It has 5 Plunder Skulling bosses, so that's 3 minutes per Boss. Rinse and repeat ...

✭I've been using the Public dungeon in Alik'r with the Group event boss...the one with the puzzle...Kill the 3 bosses...wait 3 minutes...kill the boss next to it...I think called Sword Singer?...wait 3 minutes do puzzle...kill bosses...rinse and repeat...
FYI: You can't just do the puzzle every 3 minutes...You don't get the skulls...I think it is because drops for a boss are on a 5 minute cool down...If you wait 5 minutes a plunder skull drops even if you do the same boss consecutively...
And for God's sake...if you see several players not attacking a boss that has spawned...please do not start attacking!!!!Edited by sevomd69 on October 22, 2017 9:53PM2 -

If solo, vMA/nMA is nice.
If you have friends who want to participate, then pick an easy dungeon like FG1 (or CoA1, so you can also farm for BSW and Sunder) and get the skull timer addon. We would push a boss down to 25% health, hold and just chill, and once it's nearly 3 minutes, finish off the boss and collect the skull. A skull every 3 minutes for everyone in the group. Lady_Scorp72✭✭✭✭Buried Sands in Craglorn is pretty good for a change of pace. I did some good farming there yesterday and I was mostly alone. The boss respawns after 3-5 mins, and so does the loot chest in the crypt behind him...double bonus.

✭✭✭With random normal dungeons ppl burn them to fast only get 3 skulls from 5-6 bosses. I found its best to do normal dungeons solo or with a friend lvling a new character. This has been working well for me. I’ll try nMA today0 -

tommalmm✭✭✭For me the best and least daunting is nMA on a low level character. I can complete stages nearly at cooldown. For fully equipped 50+ character it might not be the best (I had to wait before picking the chest). On the other hand, completing vMA in ~30 minutes is out of my range yet (usually 45-50 minutes). But it's two birds with one stone. Skulls on cooldown and quite a nice EXP (esp. that I had full two weeks of enlightenment ready on my PS4 account).1
