    AoE caps going would help alot with the zerging situations. if 10 people are standing in fire, it shouldnt only injure 6.

    Remove some of the empty campaigns to help funnel the population into a smaller number of campaigns.

    Give a second campaign for CP to help alleviate the performance issues that campaign has (Maybe have Vivec (CP), Vivec 2 (CP)(obviously will be named differently though), Sotha Sil (No CP), Kyne(>50))

    Better rewards for pvp in general

    keep cp out of battlegrounds or at least make a CP and a no cp queue. my only fear with that is that itll further divide the player base and thus increase queue times.

    You realize there are already multiple CP campaigns, right? Come play with us on Shor sometime!

    Everyone zergs, everyone tanks, everyone shield stacks, everyone shield ult, everyone resto ult... It's boring af. The is 0 incentives to go to Cyrodiil... AP is losing value as we speak because we have 3 empty servers with a few ppl just trading keeps and caping flags. Awesome, engaging pvp experience...

    A game with so much potential in PvP with a developer who cares very little about the PvP is very discouraging.

    No because everything PVP wise can be reworked. PVP is very unrewarding all the armor needs retweaked passive skill wise or even maybe add some new passive skills for each armor skill line.

    Thats another thing that needs to be addressed. Why on earth are people allowed to be in the same campaign in a different faction? This ruined faction loyalty. People just hop on to the winning faction and it turns boring fast.

    Lag sucks. Needs more variety. Not nearly enough incentive.

    Give us a reason to use the whole map, if there were multiple types of mini-events happening everywhere at random times people would have a reason to spread out and reduce lag. Even more importantly make the incentives AWESOME or there is no point.

    Additionally deincentivize playing tanky in large groups, or incentivize a reason for playing in smaller groups.

    No, and this is not limited to PvP, the game has no balance, and design of gameplay is poor. The Dev team is great on the things they do well, they just have massive blind spots they need to bring in some different developers for.

    This game is a patch away from being the best game I ever played, but the current Dev Team will never make that patch.

    I don't think anyone needs to leave the dev team, but certain gameplay decisions and elements need to be reassigned to someone that understands them better.

    Fix the balance.

    Redesign some things.

    The creativity is great.

    I want to bump this thread, there are so many votes and so few comments.

    It's my opinion that this game will die out much faster than it otherwise would if they do not address the PVP situation.

    I like this game very much and don't want it to flop just because the current devs/directors couldn't be bothered to improve Cyrodiil. This game was marketed on its open world PVP, in fact that is the only reason I started playing it (I love the ES series, and I'm really into open-world games).

    Please voice your opinions. This is what I think:

    > There are not enough objectives. There need to be more objectives, a) to spread people out, and b) objectives need to be near spawn points so that people aren't driven to sheer tanking builds just to mitigate the horse ride from a to b. Nobody likes that, nobody. Also some more RTS-level depth, as well as different kinds of siege, would be nice. But I'm not going to ask too much.

    > Bring back counterplay. There is so much you can't dodge, and blocking with anything but a sword/shield (and maybe an ice staff, idk) is exceedingly expensive, for example, and is the reason nearly every player in Cyro is rocking a s/b. There are many other things in this vein I won't bother mentioning, it is all addressed in these forums.

    > Ranking and rewards. The rewards are worth very little. The best gear for PVP doesn't drop in Cyrodiil. BGs need a ranking system to let opponents of roughly equal skill compete. I don't like rolling over my opponents with ease, nor do I like when it happens to me.

    > Clarify the mechanics. There are so, so many players out there in Cyrodiil that I can take down easily because they don't understand certain things. Mostly they don't understand min/maxing. The fact that you can have an enormous mathematical advantage over your opponents only becomes apparent when you see one good build wipe a group of 8+ bad ones. Nowhere in the game is the mag/stam dichotomy explained, described, or even hinted at (probably because it was never intended to begin with). There is of course more but I won't dive into it.

    The reason why I voted no, is that performance is utterly terrible. I can look over balance because non-CP isn't as *** as the CP campaign, but having an open world game with extreme customization is precisely not what Direct3D 11 is made for.

    This game needs Vulkan. Bethesda mentioned Direct3D 12 a year or two ago, but we've not heard anything since. Even a super clocked Kabylake CPU will get throttled hard in medium-large sieges, because there are just too many draw calls being made.

    AOEs, siege weaponry, particles, dynamic lights, tonnes of players, pets, NPCs, etc., there's just too much on screen for Direct3D 11 to handle.

    There's all kinds of issues with PvP, but fix those and it's aight.

    Not at all, it is a terrible game that should have been outstanding because they can't make the fundamentals work. I would like to think the penny pinchers have their hands tied and that is why they can't fix the game... but either way, the game is going to die off, they have only gotten lucky that they cornered the market while there is a lull with games in development.

    So many games coming, ESO is going to slide hard soon.

    Balancing issues aside the game is borderline unplayable. Terrible latency and rubberbanding. And seemingly no drive or motivation to fix it either. I used to get ~50 ping in Cyrodiil, now it's usually ~200 just standing there at North Morrowind Gate.

    There is to much lag, loading screens when you're in the full campaigns. The empty campaigns don't have these issues and that's why I play now in these empty ones.
