Which are the main differences in builds for No-CP and CP?

Thinking about visiting Sotha Sil a few days. Problem is, I don't really have a clue on how do you build for no-cp pvp. Any tips?

The easy first step is to swap your mundus from damage/crit to regen and keep all else the same. After that, feel it out and see where you think your build is lacking.

Plenty of people still run full damage specs in Sotha, but investing in sustain gains some value there, so you see a wider spectrum.

Builds that stack Max stats are less effective from losing the 20% bonus. Wpn/spell dmg is unaffected though.

But yeah, you usually need more sustain.

Add in a jewelry enchant for resource regen

Also try to have a more well rounded build.

If you are MagPlar or MagDK consider running 1 sustain set + 1 damage set + regen mundus.

Any other spec just swapping mundus will be enough to start with, just get use to heavy attacking every so often.

To add to Tay's comment, I prefer lightning staves for heavy attacking with my magplar.

For healing/off dps: 5 kags, 5 transmutation (last piece on sword and board back bar), 2 earthgore
For damage/off healing: 5 rattlecage, 5 lich (last piece on s&b etc), 2 valkyn skoria

Tri pots.

When I play bgs I switch from wpndmg and immovable to tri pots and my resource management is much better.
