I've got two theories:

1. You somehow ended up in the middle of some strange RP session.
2. The whole part about somebody paying him to kill you is something he made up so he can try to convince you to pay him 70k. Any experienced player should realize how ridiculous the whole thing is, but I could actually see people successfully scamming inexperienced players that way.

I have a hard time believing anybody is actually dumb enough to pay somebody to kill somebody else. Like, its open-world PVP; even the best players are going to get killed regardless of whether or not somebody pays a "hitman" to do it. I do love how he acts all tough saying "if you like playing horse simulator be my guest... ill go all night" though. This guy must really think he is hot *** to run around advertising himself as a "hitman" and acting like the idea of him trying to kill you is actually threatening. I really wish I knew who this "hitman" is, because something tells me he isn't as scary as he thinks he is.

Keep us updated on what happens with this. I'm curious to know if he actually tries to kill you, and whether or not he succeeds.

A lot of things in chat gets censored. Half the time i have to guess what players are saying.

it censors 'put a' because '***' is an evil swear word too harsh for people's little elves ears.

Great dethrone fights last night. I lead a 16 DC group down the west side. Kudos to EP for keeping pressure on Alessia and then looping around to flag Faregyl while we captured Roe. I had us set up on Alessia farm side to minimize interactions between DC and EP players so we could stay focused on AD. We flip the front flag and just as "Mr S. Has been deposed" the front door bursts open to a full raid of EP on the porch and the unspoken team purple Alliance ends.

People often say both enemy factions are teamed up against them and for the most part that is true, but I think it's seldom as coordinated as people assume. I hear "DC on their AD alts" or "EP group leader's main is DC". I think its more typically just people looking at the map and deciding who and where to attack. When 1 person is deciding that for up to 23 others, you get Team Purple, Team Orange and Team Green.

I don't know how many people were involved in that first battle of Roe, but that was quite intense. That battle was like an hour long! Quite fun, and I managed to survive through the first battle the whole way through.

Second battle, and the dethrone, was over too quick. Gotta enjoy some foreplay, you know?

I've been on honors rotations and away rotations and basically been somewhat dead to the world. I haven't had a normal schedule in months and I'm on stretches of nights/days just a couple at a time. I don't hate any players!
