Retraiting is coming. But what impact will it have in the game?
Positiv or negativ?

I'm only afraid that this "additional requirement" neccesary for changing trait will take more time to grind, that the weapon itself...
What arguments have those who said no? I'm curious about it.

Its dumping down content and will once again diminish the experience of achievement, progression and value in this game. More dedicated players usually lament it as a game "becoming casual". One poor substitute for creative content developement or fixing issues this is going to be.
Its boths cheap and lame.
Cheers
No take my take on the re-trait, you get one stone for running dungeons, you need say 5 or 8 to change an trait. What arguments have those who said no? I'm curious about it.
Mainly because the reason people want it is so they only have to run the content once or at most a few times and then whatever drops they can change to how they want it. That may be an over-simplification but it means that they will complain instead about the lack of things to do or else, depending on how it's implemented, about the grind involved in getting the additional item(s) needed to do the re-trait.
As so often with MMOs, "quality of life improvement" is really just a euphemism for "dumbing down".
far over 20 runs in WGT, 1 infused SPC pants, multiple armor sets in training, well fitted and the prosperous replacement. From experience, it will be implemented in such a way that all the huge, trading guilds will make even more gold.
Or... it will be more RNG, that will cost you a ton of gold and a lot of time.
I'd rather have weapon dyes already!
The only real "down side" to this change will be its effect on market. But since it's announced months in advance like this, I think players will surely have enough time to adapt.
And please don't tell me about the "no body will run the content anymore", because if players love PvE, they'll run dungeons and trials for no reason. If they don't like PvE, don't force them to grind just for vMA weapons
And compare to those 2 down sides, the positive side of things are just way too BIG!!!!
- me too ^^ and possibility to change how my gear looks (especially the dropped one). They could make motifs more expensive instead of making farming sets with good traits useless. From experience, it will be implemented in such a way that all the huge, trading guilds will make even more gold.

Crafted items only would make it totally pointless, think we can assume all items.Jemcrystal wrote: »Other.
To little known about it's limitations, if any, atm. And how it will effect the game overall. First off, I assume this is for everyone who owns the base game? I mean it's not locked behind the purchase of the DLC? So only those with the DLC/sub can access this?
Next, will it apply to all items in game or is this for crafted items only? Does this work on dungeon drop items?

ty for the link, much appreciated
I wonder what it means though, that there is something about it they won't discuss. I bet it will involve something from the Crown Store. If so, that would go back on any promise they ever made that crown store would never be P2W.
