-Mini trial coming, you kind of choose the difficulty. Hardest mode is "skipping" all the mini bosses, because then you fight them with the main final boss. Easier would be to defeat some/all minibosses as you encounter them. Polymorph for the hardest of hard mode (I think I heard it doesn't drop every time though?)
-Crazy king battleground mode
-Performance improvements, 15-20% increase in FPS overall. All platforms
-Trait tracker! See what items you have that you need to research!
-TRAIT CHANGING! You'll be able to change the trait on weapons and armor to any trait you have researched! Though.. there's another portion to that system they didn't discuss.
-New master/maelstrom (ability altering) type weapon!
-PTS later this month

Trait changing. Rip weapons market. And one of the few stuff left worth farming on trials. Not sure how I feel about it.
Its ok, you just know there will be a super rare (more chance of seeing three unicorns at a council meeting) crafting component that you will need to be blessed with by RNG, then take to the blessing alter to have it cleansed and refined and combined with 9 other super rare crafting components which have been cleansed and refined, which can only be combined when the planets are aligned in a slightly off line, and the moon is full on the third wednesday after the winter solstice.
In short, I wouldn't worry too much about the market.

✭✭✭Well maybe they will tie-in trait change to macguffins bought thru writ vouchers so that there can be a beneficial function commodity coming out of that system on an ongoing basis and not tie it to crown store purchases.

What does this mean?Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.2 -

Master Weapons buff the effects/strength of weapon skills.
Maelstrom Weapons buff the effects/strength of weapon skills.
These new weapons will consist of an ability-altering effect in the same way but for different weapon skills (one for each skill line).1 -
