You missed a few of them, favoritism?
Just keep telling people how to play, they love it!! If they want to leave them out who are you to tell them to put them away?

Lols, I'm certainly not one of those favorites. I've had many temporary ESO forum bans in the past when I've let my emotions override my civility.

Only the clanfear has an taunt, its not supposed to could taunt if other than sorc attack the enemy. You would never use an clanfear in an group anyway as it does crap dps and you have an tank.starkerealm wrote: »Stinkyremy wrote: »Ihatenightblades wrote: »Stinkyremy wrote: »Yeah well try be a tank while there are pet sorc builds, then you see the meaning of annoying.
Those builds can kill a dungeon strat for a tank.
May i ask for why? Just curious.
Because the pets pull agro on their own and can completely mess up controlling the battlefield and resource management for tanks.
it's annoying when for example, I am tanking a boss, keeping the agro away from my team faced towards me, a pet comes and the boss does a 180 and heads towards the pet/team
More than that, the Clanfear actually has a taunt. I'm not sure what the parameters are where it can fire, until Morrowind it could taunt Trial bosses. It might not be able to taunt dungeon bosses, I'm honestly not sure.
Honestly though I don't have merchant out hardly ever but this is making me want to because people are so concerned about everyone else. Give me 1 good reason to change my mind and I won't. Does it bother you when you are doing a quest and you have a npc following you? Does it distract you? Tell me!!!!!!!
Guys, there are a lot of people who are not playing the English version of ESO, and they don't read English chat cos they don't understand English. If only ZOS would translate chat into their ESO language version as well. Just watch twich ESO, you'll see their ESO is in a foreign language and chats are still in English and a wall of English in chat doesn't mean they get what u r saying.
I am on good terms with all of my guild leaders personally, and if they saw this post they would laugh that you are wasting their time with this.
It's a good thing I don't belong to guilds whose leaders laugh at guild members which have grievances against another guild member stemming from a lack of courtesy, no matter how illegitimate they personally believe the grievance to be.
Your grievance is regarding pets in dungeons first and foremost. Most guildleaders are busy dealing with issues such as:Having been a guild leader in a past life, the "This person won't put his pet away" would make me shake my head and sigh. Being a guild leader is a leader, not a mother.
- Generating enough income for trader bids
- Organising events
- Tracking guild and Officer activity
- Managing the guild bank
- Overseeing guild officers
- Dealing with inactives
- Dealing with reports of scamming
- Dealing with verbal assaults in Teamspeak or in Guild Chat
Secondly your grievance, if I understand, is that people aren't obeying your orders. Your unwillingness to compromise is just as much at fault for causing issue here as they are when they decide not to obey you. If I WAS your mother I'd ground all of you and take away your keyboards.
It should not hold agro if target is hit by other than you.starkerealm wrote: »Only the clanfear has an taunt, its not supposed to could taunt if other than sorc attack the enemy. I have used it in groups, actually. Usually when I'm too lazy to unslot it, and the group is running a full DPS burndown run. Now, I wouldn't inflict it on PUGs, but that's a different consideration.
That said, over the years, the Clanfear's taunt has not been consistent, to the point that I'd be willing to say it taunts whenever it feels like it. And, yes, it will taunt in a group. I've seen that happen enough times.

I think I would look for new healer as well. Control issues much? Tanks are only true leaders in any PvE content.

yeah it taunts bosses, I've had it taunt a few bosses in base dungeons before.
It really messes the flow of the battle up.
The unstable familiar (as well as the pets from the morphs of this ability) will no longer taunt monsters if the monster is engaged with other player characters.

However, I do overreact in PvP. If the enemy is attacking, I will kindly say something like "Ash UA". If people don't show up to defend, I turn into a total witch and say things like, "Omg! it does not take 20 minutes to get to Ash" or "I guess all the good players logged off" or "You guys can't defend anything. I gave you a warning before they even started sieging, L2Defend".

Clannifer does good dps actually. I use it everywhere, except on mage vAA HM.

Common Courtesy!
Anyone know or remember this? This is the main point.
When any of my guilds run dungeons/trials/etc., it is a given at the start that we put away vanity pets, check food, check weapons, etc.
At points during run, we stop. "Who needs a banker?" "Who needs a merchant?". We empty our bags... "Everyone done?" Ok, assistants get put up...We continue on...Simple really...
Being in a group means just that, you are working together towards a goal. To refuse a simple request from your group just to be a A**H***, well, I guess that shows your true personality. In game and out.
No, assistants and vanity pets don't affect mobs and bosses, but there is a reason you can't use them in Cyrodiil. They DO cause FPS drain, even if a little, so why not put them away except to be annoying?
Sometimes I think "Being Nice" and "Common Courtesy" are becoming as rare as Aetheric Ciphers!
My 2 Drakes...
Huzzah!
