i assume you're theoretical question is based on a gaming environment because otherwise thats a completly different thing and most poeple will give a completly different answer

The point is not the justice system. The point is whether a near-god can be killed by the local yokel town guard.

I do wish they'd help out more though. Like running at them while being chased by mobs should get them to help out.

One of the best features of the game is the inability to kill guards, it prevents groups of morons running around cities killing everyone in sight.
