Would you kill cops if you're legal to do so?

    Same type of question...

If justice system within a game can be challenged and eliminated; what's the point of such system then?

i assume you're theoretical question is based on a gaming environment because otherwise thats a completly different thing and most poeple will give a completly different answer

    No.

I do wish they'd help out more though. Like running at them while being chased by mobs should get them to help out.

The point is not the justice system. The point is whether a near-god can be killed by the local yokel town guard.

I like the guards.... it's the rude npcs that spout off their uncalled for commentary that I'd like to kill/challenge to a fight.

"You saved our high and mighty queen eh? Pah! Naemon should have been king!" -- those npcs need to be smacked in the mouth.

Town guards are just retired Vestiges.

I think killing guards would only be interesting if there was open world pvp and you could raid cities

Yes. I understand why they're not, but the system is so damn lame. Don't even get me started on the stupid "Riot Control" nonsense.

What's annoying is that they still taking your gold if you choose death. That shouldn't happen. Stolen items are one thing. But if you choose to run, you shouldn't lose the bounty. The bounty increases if you decide to run, so it's not like there isn't already a punishment.

If a mob hits you in front of a guard, the guard will enrage on it pretty fast.

I didn't't like when guards accidently died in Skyrim or Oblivion, so no. Guards always have funny commentary and make the cities seem fuller and more enjoyable.

My characters just need to be good thieves, so they rarely get spotted. The immortal guards are no trouble at all.

Would I kill guards if I could? Oh yes. Very much yes. I would kill them a thousand times over for the misery and trauma they have caused. Then I would kill them some more and wear their guts around my neck.

I don't see the point of killing guards even If I could. I would get more bounty and my character is not a psycho to start killing everybody in town. And I hope that Zenimax will never add this option, because some players would turn every town in game into chaos. But If ZOS make it happen, then let me fight players with high enough bounty. That would be fair.

That would be interesting, but nobles already cost 4k...can you imagine.... guards.

as long as they were tough, basically the warrior from vet helrah, but tougher, and untauntable, or the they aggro on the guy with highest bounty. it would be funny seeing full raid teams killing one for a piece of furniture.

One of the best features of the game is the inability to kill guards, it prevents groups of morons running around cities killing everyone in sight.

Only when one attacks me inside a building. And if they changed so we can escape from buildings I wouldn't have a reason to do it inside one either.

Yeah, making guards mortal would be bad. There would be literal guilds based just on pillaging and looting whole cities. Like their own sort of Thieves Guild with a trading store. Everyone farms a city for loot and becomes rich very quickly, since no doubt the guild leaders would have millions via commission baby!

This is my worst nightmare, if ZoS's AI programming somehow became adopted by DARPA it would lead to Armageddon and the end of the human race.

    YES.

If the guards are soooooooooo bad to the bone....WHY AREN'T THEY THE ONES KILLING MOLAG BAL?! Not to mention all the other stuff that we do to save Tamriel. An ES game, with guards like this is no ES game at all.
