Until this issue hit...the game was very stable with few issues. I've only gotten in to play a couple of times. Have tried several "fixes"...none of which solved much.

Can't start a support ticket because it won't accept my PW. Game over?

There's only so many ways we can say we're looking into something. ;)

    @ZOS_GinaBruno

Maybe it's not so much how you say it, but the fact that you seem to have to say it every...single...day. And sometimes even multiple times a day. It would be nice to have a game that performs more consistently than the mod's statements on a forum.

Change to EU server and change again to NA, try this. :/

Tried this (logged on EU, created one char) and then when got back to NA it stayed connected just fine.

This did not work for me.

Is there some odd sync issue going on? In a thread I started yesterday (moved to PC help, I had the log-in issue), someone mentions an unusual fix for a friend, but said they felt things were out of sync. I suppose that's possible, and maybe even was the cause for my strange landing in a very empty Glenumbra last night, after an odd "catch-up" load screen near the woodworking area. I always get hit with load screens there, but this one went through a few back-and-forths between load screen and location until I ended up at the stable, just outside the gate, no players, no NPC's, no living anything.

For fun, I went into stealth, but even in areas I knew there was no one, I was still "seen". I had to port to one of my houses, and all seems ok for the moment.

It's unbelievable ZOS's ability to - literally - ignore a problem. Several players are reporting problems logging in since the end of PS4 server maintenance. I do not know if there is any relation with the PC servers, but something is happening, being reported by numerous players under the silence of ZOS in trying to solve this problem.

Players are kicked out of the server when they log in. From the character selection screen, either return to the login screen again, or last a few seconds after login, returning to the same login screen.

Problems exist, common and normal, what should not be 'ordinary and normal' is the silence of ZOS - at least to help us solve this problem.

Here you have tried everything from repair files (3 times), shut down firewall, antivirus, check local connection, nothing seems to solve a problem that appeared in the morning (USA time).

Since we are not receiving any ZOS attention in the specific forum, I have decided to create a topic here, so maybe ZOS will see our appeal.

Ok buddy was having same issue going on two days now, logs on then shortly after kicked to logon screen. He tried to port but never wold move him. He tried repair, reinstall, firewall, antivirus tweaks, you name it.

The fix we figured seems to be a result of some type of sync issue.

I traveled to his location and had him quickly invite me to his group before he crashed since I could never see his character as registering online. The group took and he crashed once.
He then logged back in and could only see me moving and not other players around him.
I then started a duel with him, so far so good no crash..however anytime we moved more than 15-20 meters apart his character started fading like Michael J Fox in back Back to the Future.
He then followed my character out of town to another wayshire then attempted to travel to me. His travel took and was successful and stayed logged in.
I then traveled to another location via wayshire and he attempted the same and all worked. We then broke group and attempted several hops and some combat, his account is working again without issue.
We are now back at my house on the deck drinking some digital alcohol celebrating, hope this helps someone or offers insight to the root of this problem.

Using VPN to drop your route off right in Dallas is still an effective way of avoiding these lag spikes and disconnections.

But oddly enough my average ping went up from 70 to 110 yesterday, regardless of which node i hopped in on, which makes me think that they're doing something with the node on the last step, or with the servers themselves.

I while back(maybe 3 weeks) I kept disconnecting after just a minute or so. Found out it was my drivers that were disconnecting the internet on my MB. This happened out of the blue, I did nothing that would cause my drivers to become corrupt, but for some odd reason they were.
My fix I uninstalled the drivers on my "network adapter" then just restarted my PC. Windows reinstalled the drivers on restart and I have not had any disconnection issues since then.

Hope this helps with some of you that are having connection issues.

This has been an ongoing issue for three weeks now. The only thing that has changed is that, as of yesterday, a whole new subset of subscribers are being affected by it who previously weren't.

Not even possible to attempt this. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I can only stay logged in for less than 2 seconds at a time. One character is currently mounted, and she gets kicked before her horse can even spawn in.

On the VERY rare occasions that I've stayed logged in for longer, teleporting is also not possible. I can't interact with wayshrines, and any attempt to port to another player fails. One character has been stuck in her house since yesterday, and two more seem to have gotten lost in some kind of teleporting limbo - those two can't even log in, they get an error message on the character select screen saying "Your attempt to transfer has failed - please contact Customer Support."

Just a couple of thoughts here:

    1. I love how everybody likes to blame the developers and says stuff like 'server nerfs' when this type of thing happens. This actually seems like an ops / network related issue and the people that decided to nerf proc sets (for example) most likely will not have anything to do with the problem or fixing it.

    2. I doubt they are not giving anyone an ETA because they could and just don't feel like doing so. A lot of the time with issues like this the hardest part is figuring out what the problem is. And no unfortunately you can't really give out an accurate ETA for that type of thing since isn't like a math problem where you are asking how long it will take for something to get somewhere if you know the rate it is travelling at and the distance it needs to go. And the thing is usually once you figure the problem out and can give out an ETA for something like this the ETA is like one minute so honestly at that point it just gets fixed.

..and if the game really is that unplayable for you right now you could always do something crazy like go outside or take a shower :open_mouth:

Firstly I really feel for everyone having this issue and worry that it does seem to be affecting more and more NA server users!

My second point is that it seems to me that it is not an problem on the "players' end", the reason I feel that is the number of people who have stated they can play on EU fine.

So therefore it can't really be their issue surely?

I really hope it gets fixed fast but in the meantime enjoy playing with your European friends! :)

"Certain people" have been posting about this issue for over 24 hours, and the only response we got until this morning was to put in a support ticket. Which we can't do, of course, since we can't log into the game or access the support section of the forum. Posting here is literally the only thing we can do.

"Certain people" also sat here yesterday and watched the mods move MULTIPLE threads about this issue from General Discussion to the PC Support section, in a blatantly transparent attempt to hide the extent of their server problems.

Seems to me that if "certain people" weren't making an effort to be so vocal, ZOS wouldn't have a reason to admit there's a problem at all...

Hilarious to me that people think ZOS doesn't care about the game.

Look at this game. The graphics are gorgeous, the environment feels extremely real so much so that when I've clipped or fallen through the world my only disappointment was that this place only exists digitally.

They'll fix it when they can. I'm sure there's some bloke carrying a super long shift away from his family, albeit collecting overtime, just so some neckbeards can go back to the only known human location where they are cool.
Yes, I do heartily repent. I repent I had not done more mischief; and that we did not cut the throats of them that took us, and I am extremely sorry that you aren't hanged as well as we.

Also, what the heck is a neckbeard? Is that some kind of hipster thing? Like you shave it off your face, and grow it on your neck instead?
