    "ISP issue" is a cop-out. Developers need to ensure that all ISPs properly route to their servers.

    Seems like a cop-out. My friends in other MMOs do not have as much issues as ESO does.

    Even Blizzard pulls this *** all the time.

    I quit Overwatch a month after it released because of unbearable lag (that started after a patch). It was a widespread issue, with hundreds of people reporting it on the forums and Reddit. Blizzard said to talk to your ISP...

    I recently quit Heroes of the Storm because two of the friends I play with started getting unbearable lag after the D.Va patch. Hundreds of people on the forums reported it. The response from Blizzard? Talk to your ISP...

    I went to the beach as there are just too many issues going on . Stuck in loading screens or cannot connect to server . What a mess .

    I wish I could go to the beach. We have our "northern" beaches here, but it's not the same thing. :(

    Tried logging in after getting home from work. I do t even get past the load screen after character selection before getting booted. Second try I get into the game and start a quest I picked up last night... Then everything freezes and I get kicked. Tried a third time and kicked AGAIN. Just wanted to play and unwind after work and can't even bloody do that.

    5 times I've attempted to complete some writs. The longest I stayed connected before logging out was about 2 minutes. One attempt I was able to take 2 steps forward before I was booted to login.

    PC-NA.

    Off to play something else I guess.

    Cheers. I've posted in the Technical Support forum too, but haven't gotten any word back so I'll chime in here as well. Last night everything was working just fine; as of this morning, however, my launcher is completely broken (I have to launch manually with eso64.exe), I disconnect regularly and my keybindings reset every time I log in again. It's a pretty gnarly combo.

    The thing is, normally when there are connection issues, I see the red banner at the top of the forums page announcing that they're working on it. Today though, there has been no such communication. By now, I'd hope that its clear there is an issue. I'd feel much better if our dear friends at ZOS would let us know that they're looking into it. Otherwise, I just feel stuck. And rapidly running out of available time to complete the Midyear Mayhem event achievements. :neutral:

    Help us @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_BillE , you're our only hope!

    After logging into the EU server and back to the US server I was able to get in and stay in. Hope everyone else is able to figure it out.

    Shameless bump. Come on, guys, there are clearly some serious server issues going on here, across multiple platforms by the look of it. Can we pretty please get some confirmation from ZOS that the issues are being looked into, at least?

    By the way, I can't even submit a Customer Support ticket about any of this because not even the Support section of the website will load. The Account page, neither. The forums and the Store page load just fine, but anything that requires my account info Spamming the forums is the only method of communication I feel that I have right now. :disappointed:

    We have reached a point of can not log in, if we do get to log in we can not talk in guild chat, zone, fight or do anything. We log out we are returned to the spot we first logged into. We are not the only ones having the issue others are saying the same thing.
    Guys you take our money each month, you up the cost in the crown store on housing and things but you do not fix things and when we complain you blow us off.
    If your wanting this game to fail and close your doing a fantastic job at driving folks away....
    Fix the game and stop fussing over pvp .

    The account website is currently behind the same Akamai network as the NA game servers, so if you are having trouble with one, you will probably have trouble with the other.

    The support website is hosted by RightNow Technologies and is separate from the game servers and account page. Logging into it might require access to the account system. I don't know if they access account information in real time or periodically copy account information.

    The forum is hosted by Vanilla and is completely separate from the support website, game servers, and account page.

    The Bethesda store is in Amazon CloudFront, which is separate from everything else.
    Official response will be DDOS or ISP issues on your end.

    If they say anything, it will be DDoS. They don't like to come out and say it when it happens, but it is pretty obvious that someone in the mix has ramped up their concern about DDoS in the last few hours. Whether it is ZOS, or some intermediary ISP like AT&T or Level 3, we cannot tell.

    Tried:

    1. Turn-off/unplug computer/modem several times at various times-- does not help.
    2. Run toons on EU server and come back to NA server--- does not help.
    3. I have 2 ISPs(DSL and Satellite), changing from one to the other --does not help.
    4. Tried repair several times-- does not help.
    5. Removed my 2 add-ons(shards and tomes)-- does not help.

    PC/NA usually, with now 10 toons, PC/EU now has 10 toons.

    PC/NA get thru toon selection screen to log-in screen(Auridon screen with the pink flowered trees). Then crash back to password screen with the generic error message and if try to relog the "already logged-in" message shows up.

    PC/EU runs fine.

    Just to test, started a new toon on EU, got thru the Vvard training scenario. Started new toon on NA, got thru the "design phase" and into training scenario-- crashed out at level 1 before could talk to first prisoner NPC, after multiple restarts with this toon got maybe 4 steps in the first room.... help!!!

    Though I got in and stayed in last night after restarting my PC, I could not travel anywhere. I definitely could not switch toons unless I restarted my PC. Then I could not switch areas on that toon either. Same thing this morning though I let the game "repair" last night. I just don't have the time for this right now. Good luck today! Hope they get it fixed.

    The same issues began for me yesterday. I un-installed Master Merchant and turned off all other add-ons. Repaired the game 3 times with fresh restarts afterwards, still couldn't log in. Got super frustrated and walked away from my computer for 2 hours. Was able to log in 1 of 7 characters but couldn't ride a mount and couldn't use waypoints. Logged out and tried a different character.. could not get back in. Got frustrated and walked away for another 3 hours, came back and was able to log in on a different character but could not use waypoints. Logged out to switch characters and couldn't get back in. Got extremely frustrated and went to bed. Got up this morning, did a restart before trying to log in and when I try to log in.... surprise.. I STILL can't log in. In my guild there are several who are asking for advice on a fix for this and I have been looking for a fix on here since yesterday... no fix.

    Please give us some information reguarding this issue, we have guild events that are supposed to be taking place over the next few days and we need a fix.

    I submitted a support ticket and received a response back that they needed my game consultant report. Apparently they believe that it's our computers and nothing to do with their game.

    Also still having this issue.

    The problem seems to have resolved itself for a couple of hours last evening, between about 6 - 8pm EDT. But when I tried to log back in around midnight, it had gotten even worse.

    Currently I have one toon who can log in, but is stuck in her house - she can't interact with the door, and any attempt to teleport out results in the "Transfer Failed" error message. I can only keep her logged in for between 2 seconds and 2 minutes before she gets DC'd.

    Two more toons can't log in at all - they both get an error message at the character selection screen saying "Your attempt to transfer has failed - Please contact Customer Support."

    I'm too scared to even try logging in with the others...

    ** I don't use MM or any of the trading/crafting addons. I haven't made any changes or updates to my addons since the week Morrowind came out. And during that 2 hour window last night, I was able to play just fine, with all of my addons enabled. At least in my case, addons are NOT the issue.

    Rebooting my PC fixed this issue for me. Worth a try if you have not.

    As is disabling addons, especially MM. I've seen a couple of players report that this fixed it.

    I've been able to get logged in and stay logged in by logging into the EU server then back over to the US server (might have been a fluke) and by logging into other characters then back out to character select and getting on the one I want to play.
