Something ZoS would never do (and some people would complain), but why not just give you choice of either vma weapon or master weapon from each of these. People hating VMA or solo content could get to grind their vma weapons from DSA (maybe DSA giving both at once or choice of 2 because it is more time consuming) and people unable to ever get master weapon from DSA because it is unsoloable and unPUGable could get one from VMA, slightly increasing build variety and interest in them.
And people who cannot clear maelstrom arena can be carried through dsa for money!

I can't even wrangle 4 people for vDSA. I am a 780cp tank....and the response is always: "too long" or "we can do it later" or some such. I have yet to ever even try this content because of this issue. This is why I want it in the group finder, I dont mind running it with inexperienced people and failing to get past this or that arena, after all, I am not experienced in it mysef. I have Duo-ed the normal version, but normal means nothing in this game as we all know and it didnt teach me a thing about the mechanics other than the obvious(dont stand in the cold, kill the sacrifices before they get to the altars, etc). I think find a group would be fairly simple if added to the group finder. Just like in vCoS and vRoM you will get the regular puggers who are working on their individual progression through these dungeons until the become experts at the content...along with newbies who just want to try some new content. New/updated gear would be great, but the biggest problem with vDSA is there is no accessibility. I would love to get my hands on an inferno staff even as they are(I have a good use for it) or a resto staff, or really any and all of the weapons.

Agreed, but why stop at the master weapons?
All the sets for DSA need to be looked at and improved.
It's been a loooong time since footman's was considered a serious tanking set and I don't see anyone suggesting the healers habit for a heals either.
It pretty much goes without saying that Archers mind and Destruction mastery are badly in need of attention as well.

^^ I agree with this. I personally think streamers are bad for this game. These people shape the meta to be whatever, then everyone runs around building to the meta instead of coming up with their own builds. The result being that 90% of the builds out there are some variation of some streamer's build. No offense to those who stream and the excellent builds they come up with, but the end result is build homogenization and less creativity.

You have it the other way round. Meta created streamers, not the other way round.
Back in the day, before WoW was released, and for a few years afterwards too, when internet was all blocky and had a reduced colour palette to save bandwidth, we had people writing guides. Then we had people recording guides and uploading them. Then we had people live streaming guides.
Those guides were created because 90% of the people don't want to bother with extensive theorycrafting to find the meta. Theorycrafting takes effort and knowledge and most people don't care why the meta is meta. They want something that works, and then they customise it a little bit if they are not happy with it.

I do not agree that vDSA is the best 4-ppl content. It is enough to complete it several times to feel how boring it is. Although I understand that this is a matter of taste.
But I agree that master dagger (maybe master greatsword and maelstrom mace/sword as well) should be buffed a bit. The rest of the weapon is fairly balanced and actively used.
