Ah yes, I did forget to mention that I am in the Aldmeri Dominion on my main. She was the one I was trying to earn Cadwell's Gold on and the only way I was going to get through it was to get it over with. Also, I am on PC/NA. I couldn't use a game controller to save my own life so I mouse/keyboard it!
Hmmm....there is an AD mega-guild that is pug friendly...Total Domination I think? They should be able to find you a spot.
AD is terrible.
AD and EP best got whoopin from DC.
The best now reside in DC.
They aint interested in going back to AD or EP in order to try and to even the playin field.
Back in days there was no DC buff server.
I came and put them EP and AD in their place.
ALL servers are DC BUFF servers today.
@Publius_Scipio I KNEW it was you!

Just jump in and announce in chat "LFG". Tell the group leader you are new to PvP, and then stick to crown like he owes you money and follow instructions. Do those 2 things, and you will be miles ahead of the average pug.

If I'd go then I would first buy movie tickets. For the wife and kids you know, get them out of the house. With all the swearing going on my wife might get excited thinking I'm building something plus I don't want the kids to hear that. After that initial phase I'd really like to be alone. I only cry alone.

I guess this thread has already taught you one thing about PVP..: The PVP community aren't the demons and trolls that they seem to get painted as
A lot of good advice here so far - here's a but more...

If you don't get a group - don't worry, its just because there isn't one running with spaces at that time (or the leader was too busy to notice your LFG in chat at that time - which is why asking every few minutes is useful)
In the meantime, if you don't get a group - you can still play. Learn to understand the map - see where the conflicts are (crossed swords) or keeps are under attack (have a yellow glow behind them) - and go there. You will generally see plenty of other people going there too. When you get there, there will often be a large amount of friendlies in combat - stick with them. You don't have to be in a group to play alongside others. You benefit from each others heals/buffs etc. grouped or not. You can help kill the same targets grouped or not. You can join in with a pre-existing siege etc.
This is called zerg-surfing. There are probably more people doing just this than there are in groups at any one time in cyro.
On Dying
Rule number 1. Don't get salty. You will die - a lot. Its what PVP is. I've seen some PVEers get really upset when someone kills them in Cyro or IC.. and take it as some kind of trolling/hatred directed against them etc.. It isn't, its just PVPers Pvping in a PVP zone.. I honestly think this is one of the main reasons people think PVPers are toxic etc.... I suspect if you do see this kind of rage in chat - its probably PVE-ers who are only there for the event and havn't learned this yet.
