From the pictures it looked like the Domihaus Helmet was finally going to be one that looked good enough to actually show. Imagine my surprise when I get it equipped and look like a bloody bobblehead.

Not to mention the fact that you cant even dye 90% of it.

Anyone else annoyed by this?

As long as the AOE circle stays that big, I don't mind calling it house house.

the 1pc is good but the 2pc is awful. You'd be better off wearing 1pc Dominhaus with 1pc Molag Kena.
    Invictus
Kilandros - Dragonknight / Grand Overlord
Deimos - Templar / Grand Warlord
    Sias - Sorcerer / Prefect
Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

-haus is a common Minotaur name suffix sutch as Morihaus. Domi was more likely chosen as the prefix because it sounds like Dominate. Translating to "homehouse" in German and Latin was not likely intentional.

Agreed. WIth a perfect uptime it's only 136 damage on the area, with +/- 800 dps per target who are continuously on the circle. The damage bonus should be boosted, or the cooldown reduced to 10 second or something like that.

While staying in circle, 2nd pc also gives 200 SD/WD buff (based on proc)

In PVE tank holds boss in a place, 15% chance to proc and 5 sec cooldown only,

This set is very good for stam aoe builds and mag dk!

All monster helmets look the same regardless of weight, why would this one be singled out as different? And the heavy one was the one I tested anyway.

200 SD/WD for 10 seconds with a 5 second cooldown mean 136 damage with perfect uptime (66%), and probably 125 damage most of the time (60% uptime). The damage part is really bad, so I think a +5% crit piece will do more dps than the second bonus.
The only good thing I see on this set (along with the proc's visual) is the mag + stam bonus on 1cp, really good for pvp build and perhaps for frost tank.

The real disappointment is from the damage proc being a ring instead of a circle.

The aesthetics are largely irrelevant when we have hats, costumes, and hide-helmet. Besides, nothing could look worse than Velidreth.

The physical damage ring is sort of not good. In melee fighting the mobs are all inside the ring. For ranged fighting it's hit or miss. If you wanted to hit a boss with the ring you'd have to stand just outside melee range and too close for the "Long Shot" bow buff range.

The set is a giant bull's head so perhaps add a "Bulls Eye" inner ring so that melee enemies that run to you are at least still taking hits.

It's awfull for stamina users. You need to stay between 8 to 10 meters away from target to deal dmg with Domihaus and that means You wont reach targets with many of Your abilities which have less then 8 meters range including light and heavy attacks. As stamina user it's almost impossible for You to keep the dmg component on enemies in both single target and AoE and 200 spell dmg with realistic 60% uptime gives 120 spell dmg which is the same as Molag Kena 1 piece. Even if tank will stack group of mobs perfectly in 1 place You'll be able to deal dmg maybe to half of them and dmg itself isnt strong. You can get better results in both AoE and single target with sets like stormfist , velidreth , sellstrix , grothgar , ilambris , slimecraw or 1/1iceheart/slimecraw maybe even nerieneth , skoria and spawn of mephala also but I'll need to wait on EU copies to test that.
