Tormentor set and taunts

So the set says your charge abilities taunt the enemy. Does lotus fan proc this? If so does the aoe from lotus fan taunt everything? Aoe taunt?

No AOE taunt. Between explosive charge and lotus fan, the main target is the only one that gets taunted.

Ya deep down i think every tank is happy there is no AOE taunt lol it would put so a lot of pressure on them lol.

Think I tested this like a month or two ago, lotus fan (assassin charge) didnt even count as "charge".

Yes. The AoE taunt is really not needed in ESO. It would cause major issues in raids or more casual or inexperienced tanks where two tanks are used. It would cause a major issue in MoL and HoF and with trash in SO.

I would love AOE taunt... When I can do dungeons solo, it's so easy to make all mobs run to me in nice ball group - but I truly hate trash mob packs when I'm tank with random group (which is like always)

AOE taunt with large radius would make it much easier cause melee mobs would always follow me without need to waste time and manually taunt each of them, leaving me to manage only ranged mobs.

It would make it not fun. If we could one button and boom all taunt up, it would make it way to easy, now if it was a high costing ultimate I would have less issue with it, but not an ability and not a set, it would make it way to easy and take most of the fun out from it all.

I've tried tormentor with teleport strike and its morphs. They don't even count as a charge.

Thats right it doesn't count as a charge and literally if you want to use it to retaunt with a charge you have to move 3m away from target again bc of the change they made to charges. Prob a pvp nerf. Lotus is still good for aoe pulling plus dots pull decent aggro.

If we could AoE taunt, DPS would have no incentive to do their damn jobs and kill the adds.

Yes it can proc Tremor.

If we had an AoE Taunt it should be an expensive ofb ultimate.

You want an AOE taunt, use Radiant Aura as Templar, you pull everything around you with a 28 meters radius. Even with elevation level difference

Lotus fan works good too bc it applies an aoe taunt. You could even use a charge on primary targwt and drop lotus.
