And yes, Prosperous currently makes a difference when looting gold (like 50% more, or even more, if you have 7 Prosperous body pieces)
If you believe the math people it wasn't as efficient as the lowered costs for repairs from Impen any way.

Not saying it's going to make you rich, but it is entirely possible to do efficient gold farming if one was so inclined.

18,5k/h.......
okay im really really sorry, i rewrote that 3 times now....i cannot answer w/o making fun of it or flaming.
I will politely leave that post and wish u all the best for your future of killing mobs for gold.

Prosperous farming is just a nice, consistent source and you can zone out, listen to some music, watch youtube, etc while you do it. Plus, if you're in a public dungeon and you hit up bosses along the way, you might get some decent gear that you can use / sell at a decent price.
20k is my average. If i happen to be in a certain spot at "dead" hours with very few players, I can bring that up to 30k, and that's before selling the drops. So best case scenario, it's like 40-50k / hr, which I think is pretty good? And I'm only cp 340, so I can't easily solo 4 man dungeons or WBs yet either.

Okay, i admit, i can solo nearly any worldboss there is, tho i do that for fun and not for the money. Im not in a trading guild, nor do i play the market. i got a buddy who is in a good one, and sells stuff for me.
My problem with this post in general was, that u made it sound like farming mobs with prosp gear in order to gain money is a good or efficient thing.
20k/h is a good cut, aslong as u dont have to work for it.
"Im farming mobs w/ prosp gear cause that nets 20k/h" is on a level of "i farm vma for purple ugrade mats".
What im trying to say is: If u need money, killing mobs is not the way to go. There r far easier ways to get the same if not higher amounts of money.
The better methods r mostly kept secret, cause good stuff usually gets nerfed when mentioned here.
Magesguild/Dauntless-Delve daily, both dont take no longer than 5 mins each and net u ~500 or so gold, 6 ornate items, a bunch of trashy food and potions and a chance of a motifbook to sell, if u havent completed the locations, u also get a lot of skyshards and skillpoints, perfect for a new toon. Fightersguild is also not bad, but can take longer. This is what someone else called "gold is the byproduct of my normal activities".
Running around vvardenfell, picking up chests in order to drop buy-an-armchair motifs, well i guess if u r lucky enough u should top out at some 6-digit/hour....
The value of the prosperous trait itself is questionably at best. There has been many, many complains about it existing in the first place. Now, when it finally gets changed into sth less ***, seeing ppl going murder and mayhem about that, well...what i said in my post above xD

There are already better ways to make gold in the game than relying on Prosperous trait gear.
