Personally I have always considered it the Templar just because they have a lot of skill to keep themselves alive.
I've played Nightblade tank in the past and it was a lot of fun because of the way you kept yourself alive, however I am sure that's changed now.
Warden
I have played Sorc tank , now the pet can no longer tank , our dark deal have a longer cast time ... we don't have any useful passif to tank , and we have only 3 useful skill :
- Dark deal
- restraining prison =less powerful version of chocking talon.
- Boundless storm = hardened armor .
Yeah ... so i think the warden is the second .
All other classes can tank, however, if I were to be doing vet trials and even some vet dungeons, I want a DK tank. Everytime I see other classes tank, they have damage mitigation problems, QQing for shards and heals all the time because they cannot manage resources as well as a DK.
So sure, if you want to do low level content, roll a tank with any class, but DKs are number 1 tanks for a reason. Every other class I seen tank in vet trials, always die, just a waste of time.
Same could be said about templars with healing. Yet to see moves as good as BoL, shards, repentence all on 1 class

BoL isnt used heavily in Trials, Shards is only good for giving out stuff to Tanks, Orbs are better and faster to give to multiple DPS's and Repentance is dead if you haven't noticed already.
And if you come across Wardens that die easily then its a L2P issue, I have never had trouble surviving or sustaining with my Warden.
