Horns of the Reach DLC - how difficult will the new dungeons be?

    harder then soth dungeons as many said before also hoping we will get new skins again, that wont be as lame as fabrication sheath :D

    I hope that the dungeons will be on par with or harder than SotH dungeons, almost all of the previous ones are way too easy by this point.

    Whatever the difficulty, the rewards should be commensurate with the difficulty.

    If they are going to be hard like vet Shadows of the Hist, then some good loot should be at the end (cool new gear, motifs, collectibles, etc.).

    I'm more curious as to if they've turned Falkreath into a dungeon, what would happen if they build the landmass around it, the area won't have a main town as it's a dungeon.

    Seems like an odd choice to make into a dungeon.

    well you know, for hard-core players maybe, but for us casuals like me, the pre-DLC dungeons are pretty ok in terms of difficulty and the DLC dungeons are too hard ;)

    well but casuals also want be able to obtain the monster helms, right?

    I think the best way to do it would be to add the hard mode for the whole dungeon (the scroll), not only for the last boss, then we would have 3 difficulties (2 for casuals and hard mode for hard-core players)

    I also hope they won't give us this for the completion of the 4 achievement of these dungon:

    - I don't want tatoos , nobody will see them
    - I don't want pet , plz ... nobody care of these thing
    - I don't want furniture , the current limit of the housing is way to low .
    - i don't want polymorph , i like to custom my char , but this thing hide all the custom .

    But i would love , new mounts for the completion of the " no death + HM + speedrun " , disguise , skill skin : D

    I would like to see somewhat harder difficulty than vCoS and vRoM with somewhat better rewards(maybe a 3-piece monster set, or a new mount for HM completion...and for gods sake...PLEASE make the monster set bonus like Chudan...and NOT another proc set like Velidreth. I have nothing in principle against proc sets....I just think there should be other options for monster sets)

    Chudan is certainly NOT useless as a monster set. It frees up a TON of resources having to constantly cast an armor skill to stay at armor cap, not to mention a skill slot. Chudan is a very good tank set...especially for my medium armor tank. Think of it this way..I dont have to cast hardened armor every 30 seconds or whatever it is...that means that every 30 seconds my allies instead get a 7-8k damage shield, thus I am contributing more to the survival of the group than if I have to waste a cast. I am also able to slot another skill such as say...Mystic Guard which I have found is helpful in places like vRoM hard mode if there is a squishy build in the group...again contributing to group survivability...definitely NOT useless. Just because you may choose not to use it because of other "BiS" sets.

    While the DK have other abilities to put instead of Hardened armor , the sorc only have " Darkdeal - restraining prison -boundless storm " , i have enough slot for these 3 " tank " skill . This is why i have never try to put something instead of one of my few usefull skill .

    My Ilambris procs give me 2k DPS. 2k. Not 10k, not 15k - 2k. In the beginning I weared 2 Magnus pieces and didn't have any problems.

    Saying "casuals also want the monster helm" is the same as saying "casuals also want the Maelstorm weapons". Casuals do not need Maelstrom weapons. Casuals do not need the monster sets.

    Monster sets, just like the Maelstrom weapons, are cherry on the cake of DPS, not the cake itself. And cherry is something you work for.

    I'm not even talking about the fact, that those new monster sets are probably going to be new BiS. And BiS is not needed - casuals can still wear monster sets from easier dungs.

    Game caters to casuals enough as it is. Leave BiS gear alone at least - not everything should be obtainable for free.

    I'm fine with Hist difficulty or a little harder.

    For sets I REALLY hope we get one that makes stam healing end-game viable. It's too fun to be forced on the back burner for dungeons only.

    I am they are around the same difficulty as the ic dungeons. No one (Me included) wants to run hist dungeons in my guild largely because of the difficulty.

    are you sure about that? is Reach not located in Skyrim? according to this yes:

    Hist dumgeos are not hard the problem is you casuals chased all the experienced end gamers out of the game so now you have no one to show you the strats. this game will not last ten years its already on its way out

    Which I don't even understand. You could easilly farm amberplasm on normal, but who the f runs vet other thab motifs. And tbh, a SELLABLE ITEM I ALSO WANT TO COLLECT keeps me returning to vet ruins.

    Ik they removed boe, which was stupid, but that was a very big step in making endgame content repeatable. You don't need bop helmets to make it worthwhile.
