Approximately how often do you run into a bot(s) per 24 hours of actual game time period?

*Poll is only for those that do enter "botter areas" regularly. By "botter areas" I mean PvE areas that are not instanced, and where there are non-NPC's to kill for exp/loot gains.

For some, 24 hours of game time could be over 2 days period while for others it could be spread over a week period. Regardless, it balances everyone's experience by an equal measure. Vote based on number of bot encounters, not based on number of botters witnessed.

I haven't encountered any bots since around ESO launch in 2014.

A few months ago I saw somebody in Cyrodiil who kept coming out of Alessia keep, walking directly to the slaughterfish water and killing himself. Thought it must be some kind of bot and was about to report it, but then he whispered me and asked why I kept killing him. Turned out he just didn't know about slaughterfish.

If I go to Alik'r to pretty much any of the dolmens I see them all day long. Same for the dolmen next to Vulkel Guard (spelling>). Bots and more bots!

Once every couple of month? I seem to pick all the places and dolmens and whatnot that are bot-free.

I don't think I've ever run into a bot. I don't pay enough attention to other players to notice though.

Yeah, it's not so much a question of "how often do i see bots" as "how often do i go to places where there are always bots"

Every single time I've gone to Drowned coast dolmen there are 4 or 5 bots doing a circuit killing mud crabs.

I'm on PS4 so bots aren't as common. Not counting the rubberbanders at dolmens I run into a bot swarm farming leather maybe once a week or so.

Normally 0, actually. I'm on PS4 and rarely come across them. There are some at Dolmens, but even that isn't very often. I've only seen them not a dolmens once - during the new life festival where you had to kill insects for the temple for the divines.

PC NA bots are common, if you know where to look for them. The are pretty much there 24/7 in a couple places in Shadowfen and Grahtwood. They tend to be in out of the way areas, likely to avoid being discovered.

I don't tend to include the "rubberbanders" in the category of Bots, but they are close cousins. Those people, who hang around dolmens, have decreased. They have probably been replaced with actual bots, since they need to move now.

Popular farm spots will almost always have at least one bot there (but usually a train). Typically they farm hides only as node farming seems a bit harder to code (you'll see lost bots in every node farming zone endlessly walking/jumping into a rock face). You know who all the botters are because you see them selling multiple stacks of 200x dreugh wax in guild store (restocked regularly).

Just for reference, it takes 1 hour to farm 4 dreugh wax at optimal efficiency (meaning no one else there to disrupt your rotation). Thus it would take someone 50 hours to farm 200 dreugh wax. When I see someone selling 10-20 stacks, I think it's safe to say this isn't being farmed by a human (especially considering there are 168 hours in a week, and some people post like 500 hours worth of farming per week; aka they use bot trains).

ran into one bot train in reaper's yesterday and one in grahtwood today - I am usually doing treasure maps or surveys when I find them - they appear to have gotten more members per train - now with 5 to 7, whereas before they were 3 or 4

I know they are out there, but I hardly ever run into them. Probably because I'm generally not in areas where they are commonly found. If I am running around helping my friend that has only been playing for a few months, I'm more likely to see them.

I don't often see bots anymore, but when I do I report them. ZoS must be doing something right. Bots literally use to fly through the air from mob group to mob group. They would also appear from underground to farm nodes. Now when I do see them, which is rarely, it will be a chain of farmer bots running around.

I saw something who probably be bots, south east stonefall, 6-7 player running around on a battlefield killing single random enemies. All sort of levels including one cp630, I thought they was just stupid as they used various skills, however I did an dolmen nearby with another guy and non of the group showed up even if very visible, this is my first confirmed bot sighting since I returned 5 months ago.
I saw one used an macro on dolmen some months ago, he had however joined the fight before it ended.
