A few months ago I saw somebody in Cyrodiil who kept coming out of Alessia keep, walking directly to the slaughterfish water and killing himself. Thought it must be some kind of bot and was about to report it, but then he whispered me and asked why I kept killing him. Turned out he just didn't know about slaughterfish.

edit to add - I did see a large bot train in Stonefalls last week

Are you a moth priest?
Half the maps listed in the game have dedicated botting areas. Not exaggerating or overstating that in any way, shape, or form. It's been pretty much this way 24/7 for the past 9 months at the least.
Here is a thread I posted about this very thing last November with screenshots and locations, and they are still constantly botted today.

The three most common areas (Reticulated Dolmen area in Shadowfen, the Werewolf Village in Bangkori, and the Drowned Coast Dolmen in Greenshade) always seem to have bot trains. I did not see one the other day in Shadowfen but I was not in the place were I always saw them.
If in fact they have been removed from these areas, perhaps ZOS finally clamped down on them and removed them from the game.

I don't know, that's a big maybe because I still run into bot trains constantly, especially now that I'm farming for overland gears. I'm basically spamming myself (ZOS sends me e-mails per report) by reporting these bots without knowing if it does any good. I still report every time though.

Me too, me too.. That being said it's crazy how easy it is for humans, including myself and everyone else on earth, to lie to themselves, then turn around and believe it.
where is none i can tell of?

If they made me a GM and gave me Banhammer Privileges, it would be a wonderful evening let me tell you.

I don't report them anymore. I could be reporting a good 20 of them just from PC NA. In realizing that ZOS has yet to send me a check for reporting these accounts, I have decided to just watch them.NukeAllTheThings wrote: »I see them at least once a day because I am going back and leveling Mages Guild on multiple characters that I neglected in the past. I would not say "lie to themselves" as much as "just never noticed" or they simply don't head out into the wilderness where bots live.

I would not even need ban privileges. They could give me a "teleport to random zone" spell and I would have tons of fun. Probably too much. Might get a ban, myself.
