It just dawned on me.
They didn't do this early access thing as a nice gesture to those who pre-ordered the expansion.
They did it to get mass testers because the closed PTS wasn't giving enough feedback.
We're not lucky pre-order players; we are guinea pigs.

You are right. I was receiving invitation to PTS although I had never applied for it (I actually believe you have to pay people for beta testing, or give them a present like it happens in real world). So I wasn't even interested to participate and the main reason is I don't believe they are listening to what people report and suggest. If I would feel that we can really improve somehow the game I would gladly help the project. But just look at Group Finder, reports are neverending and it is staying broken.
"whaat is it still broken???? thought we fixed it... oh well we fix it next time then"

@Rianai tried that by literaly staying in the same spot, still the same problems.
Just some thought ...
In GW2 you can't change map while in queue, because according to the devs there, it would cause problems, if queue pops during loading screens. In ESO there is no such restriction. I'm aware that this is a completely different game with different technical background, and maybe loading screens are handeled just fine, but what if not? Anyone from the devs thought about this?

This does make sense. People do different things while in a queue and I know I have missed queues to Cyrodiil many many times because I missed the pop up to accept either because I was doing something else or I didn't get the screen notification at all. I think perhaps they should remove the option to accept/decline. If you queue for something as soon as its ready just load them into wherever. I am also going to add if this ever went live that if you do queue for anything don't think you'll have time for a dungeon or trial and then get mad that you got pulled out. A work around would be if you travel anywhere while in queue it would kick you.

I'm having a similar problem:
I queue, I accept, I get stuck in "Forming Group". After that, a few more invites appear, I accept them, but same. Sometimes its stuck on Waiting for Player: 1, and then it says someone declined the queue invite, and goes back to queue. I was able to get into two battlegrounds, but after accepting many invites.
