Battleground Load Screens

I tried to res-pawn in a battleground and ended up in a 5 minute load screen. When the load screen was finally done, I was kicked out of the battleground and was given a twenty minute deserter penalty. Makes the whole thing kind of pointless.

Welcome to PvP loadscreens 2.0.

This has been happening in Cyrodiil since around Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood time. It's a PvP bug so of course ZoS took a cursory 5 minute look at it and decided it was too difficult.

Same here, happened twice in a day. I thought it only happened in Cyrodiil when there is a lot of players respawning at the same time. But there is just 12 people in a Battleground.

cant enter Battlegrounds,everytime i get into a BG i get loadingscreen of death....rip

Both scenarios here: one partway through a BG, then just now, trying to load into my first BG since I last got loading screen o' death.

Patch coming? At a minimum, acknowledgement coming of a known issue?

Ugh, I hate the 20 minute penalty when all I’m trying to do is the load the darn screen for battlegrounds. There has to be another way to determine whether a player left a battle of their own volition, or were stuck in a lag loop.
