    Buy it or not you will get the base game patches/nerfs.
    So no point in not buying it if you are sticking around, you just miss out on the better parts.
    Almost as if they designed it that way. ;)

    Well, I didn't not buy it because some dude on the internet said something about Warden being P2W a few weeks ago. Then some streamer freaked out and stopped streaming about ESO. Then some other dude on the internet used all caps in his post saying ZOS ruined ESO. And you know, people who use all caps are usually reasonable people with a balanced opinion.

    So yeah, a lot of reasons why I didn't not buy it.

    I've bought it. Love the game and plan on playing for quite some time. I do however have some long term gaming buddies who just came back to the game (quit shortly after launch). They have so much content to get through that they aren't planning on buying it for the time being.

    I won't be buying it until it becomes popular. As it seems on NA server it's going to be booming while at EU server only the really devoted players buying it.

    For many (probably the most) users on EU server 40$ is an overwhelming price for an "expansion".

    Also ZoS aim their ads for US players for same reason.

    I purchased it twice. Both Collector's edition copies - one digital (for me) and one physical (for my son, but I'll be keeping the dwemer statue XD)
