    I think they basically said, 'we feel Templars are in a good spot right now'... so NO changes other than to their Ultimate being a bit 'faster' to drop.

    On a Mag DK I'm not using spiked armor in PvE nor would I use inhale and fiery grip. In PvP I would use spiked armor but the other two especially inhale, I would not bother even using.

    One quick mention aka Edit, spiked armor already costs like what nearly 3k on my stam DK and much lower on my Mag DK; who stated it was such a high costing ability to begin with because I do not think anyone would suggest its costs warranted a reduction in cost.

    These changes were nothing but dressing, made to look pretty without even solving the issue at hand. Every PTS these three abilities cost wise were not a major point of concern; I mentioned fiery grips unrelenting morph having a cost reduction while applying a debuff but only to get rid of this notion that a DK needs to be agile when we are a class that is meant to stand our ground and not be a brick flying from one end to another.

    The changes for the DK class (mentioned on ESO live) did not solve the issues that people other than myself who were having issues with the changes to battle roar, helping hands and major mending on igneous shield alongside with extremely high costing abilities that are used in rotations for a Mag DK.

    I will actually be very surprised if they don't reduce the cost of stone fist too lol.

    Am I? Don't know what Sorcs in PvP are using since I don't PvP... just noting that there is a major nerf to Sorcs incoming as the devs seems to think that VF is the only ability that is OP with a Sorc.

    The buff makes it so Grim Focus will not remove itself when you use the proc. You will get multiple procs off per cast and near 100% uptime on Minor Beserk.

    It's a big buff tbh and Magicka NBs were doing quite alright on PTS. Now they'll be there right alongside Magicka DK and Magicka Templar.

    We only have to hope now that they buff Magicka Warden enough and that Magicka Sorcerer gets nerfed enough for all five classes to line up well DPS-wise.

    Ah I see, just no need to refresh. Sounds good, but we'll see how it plays out and what the numbers will be in the end. That doesn't sound like a huge buff to dps itself, but with CP and new sets - who knows.

    The only thing - for NB to be right alongside mDK and mTemplar simply having comparable DPS is not enough, because DK and TP provide much more to the raid: minor sorcery, 10% fire damage, synergy on cooldown to proc alkosh and such. NB needs something that adds to the group or more DPS than DK/templar to make up for the lack of needed group synergy (heals and even veil don't count as of now, since healers heal perfectly fine and taking refreshing path is a dps loss. Veil is also a dps loss).

    At least they are fixing it.

    The fix would be to scale back the nerfs, so another change on top of them wasn't needed. NOT leave the nerfs as-is, and then put another change on top of them to lessen the impact of the nerfs.

    This is why their code is so spaghetti, and things unexpectedly break all over the place.

    I like the nerfs to be honest.

    I felt this too. I got the impression that they are scared -- possibly because many people are canceling their pre-orders for Morrowind due to their proposed changes without giving adequate reason as to why (at the time). I can see ZOS trying hard to give us what we want (now) but I think it has cost them greatly.

    That or it is what they want to do. It looks alot more like they want players to work for resource management rather than just passively get it all. This change looks like they felt resource return was what they want but too low. It also adds an interesting place of choice. Strike quick for damage, spend time for resource.

    Cyrodiil? Didn't you hear that PvP is now all about Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil has become a lost cause to ZOS.

    Honestly, I think Resto is shorter compared to Destro... so I think Resto is where all other weapon Heavy Attacks are versus Bow and Destro.

    Cyrodiil? Didn't you hear that PvP is now all about Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil has become a lost cause to ZOS.

    I can't cite the amount of sorcs in PvP without referring to cyrodiil, as that is the only PvP in the game other then duels.

    A little later in the show, Rich said they already have tons of changes planned for Update 15 for all the classes, based on feedback and numbers on the PTS. Soo.. they already have stuff in the works.. I hope some of them are useful.

    Yeah, I suspect that pre-orders are just fine. What you were sensing was the standard ZOS internal NDA, where they did not want to talk about changes being made for Live in 2 weeks because these decisions were not final.

    Aoe resist buff should just be a passive in the medium armor line. Sigh, ZOS expecting us to slot and keep up blade cloak all the time so unavoidable boss mechanics don't one shot melee dps.

    DK igneous shield is still going to be bugged I know it. They don't stack so if another DK uses igneous around you, you lose your major mending.

    Also those DK skills that got cost reduction were the wrong skills. It needed to be igneous and dragons blood and dragon scales.

    Hey. I like my dual pet build, but it is easy to play. It will be interesting to see what they changed. Won't be anything like the mini-nuke they took to DKs a few updates back.

    "Volatile + Prey" is - sure hope was! - disgustingly overperforming. Petsorc literally = best DPS. About time that goes down.

    And yeah. I am a Sorc.
