I love what that one feller said (was it this thread or a different one, I can't remember) about them nerfing us to make OLD content harder and not design new content to be harder. Who the *** does that lol? Almost like a bad April Fools joke. Whoever is in charge of these decisions needs to be fired.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not cancelling my account and I'll probably pre order Morrowind eventually. Maybe when the deadline gets closer I'll probably break down and buy it but I'm in no hurry atm to buy it right this instant. I'm holding out hope that enough people cancel their sub and their pre order that the devs are forced to fix crap.

Making O-L-D content harder instead of making new content harder is ass backwards and dumb as hell. ***, 99 percent of the reason that they are making it so everyone does *** damage is because of battlegrounds. They don't want their 5 v 5s lasting a whole whopping 30 seconds when one team stomps the other. If everyone does *** for damage then nobody can steamroll the opposite team. That's why. But they can keep on trying to balance pvp and pve as one entity and I can keep on laughing at them while they keep failing.

With One Tamriel, ALL content should be basically the same, not harder or weaker than any other... that's what the scaling is for. So no, they aren't making older content harder, nor making new content harder because that's not how the scaling in ESO works. The only content that gets 'harder' are vet level content, and things they specifically scale differently.

Rationalize it how ya want but stuff that we can currently do now is going to take longer. That is regression not progression.

Yeah the problem with stam is that if they buff things to make them more survivable in raids (like a stam shield or more heals or resistance) now you basically destroy what's left of pvp balance. Imagine a stam dk in pvp that had a harness like shield he could pop whenever.

Of course this update is PvP focused. If it were PvE, we'd see some changes in the power of classes shift. New mechanics or redesigning junk skills. Either classes would be comparable to each other or a different class would shine. As it stands, sorcerers are still kings while nightblades are paupers with the others somewhere in the middle. And sorcerers, while powerful, still have a huge number of junk abilities. Probably one reason they remain unchanged because if you mess with the few good ones they'll have nothing left. That doesn't stop them from messing with the good skills the other classes have even though their power wasn't anywhere near a sorcerers. They just had more skills to pick from. However, all classes either need a couple really powerful skills or they need to address all skills and make them useful.

In the end though, I think they wanted their battlegrounds to be quick and that wouldn't work if you have great sustain. Nothing about sustain changes PvE except now things take longer. So if you were having issues before, you'll have more now. If things were easy before, they'll be just a bit harder but you'll be fine. Quick, fast pvp fights is where this will matter. Not seeing how this would affect current PvP. Those having problems before will still have them and those at the top will still remain at the top. Unfortunately because they are tying PvE and PvP together, they've just made the game harder for those on the lower end while just making it longer for those at the top. Not sure battlegrounds are worth it. They aren't for me. We'll see if they are for them.
