On the one hand they are trying to address long standing cp/resource imbalances and on the other they just took a hot *** all over everyone but sorcs.

I'm rather unhappy with the future change being implemented as they're being implement I think they could#ve been done in a better way rather than just nerfing people every 6 months and saying it's a buff if your max pool is like 19000 lol zos

I like the game very much but the direction i believe it's going with the lack of resources and the classes hidden behind pay walls concerns me for the future

Eh, I think they did a damn good job with it for a while, but I think things are going downhill, if only somewhat. At the moment, Zeni has complete tunnel vision and really to me just seems to want to milk the crap out of the warden class.
I'm actually not personally too upset with the patch notes themselves or anything though.

Zeni also definitely is stuck in the mentality of "let's put it in the crown store!!". And I'd be fine with them adding more and more things the the CS, but apparently Zeni had no idea how pricing should work for some of the items they've been releasing. (i.e. housing and mounts)

I am unhappy but i don't think it is some conspiracy to get our money that everyone seems to think it is.

I don't know what it is with game makers never just going "my bad" and reverting changes they have made. They just seem to keep making new mistakes to cover up others they have made and it ends up finely balanced house of Cards..mistake cards.

The current issues are a result of cp changes but instead of (just) changing CP they went in and broke all the things thier own game.

The nerfing of every class because of things only 1% of the population can achieve has me concerned. I've preordered Morrowind and will try the changes. But if it's harder for me to complete things such as vMA simply because of their useless nerfs I will quit and go back to Destiny...I hope they don't ruin a game that I have so much fun playing currently. Some people that can complete veteran content now won't be able to complete that same content after the patch, that has me worried about the future of this game.

If they try to milk the warden we has real problem, as in stuff way worse than the insane nerf.

To sell warden make it an ranged stamina dps with pet a in the same ball park as pet sorcerer without needing fantasy (vMA) gear. Its something who 30% of the player base is looking for and easy to fix.
ZoS marketing campaign for Morrowind is not new coke level, I say its probably in the Ford edsel league.
And yes its caused lots of fear and doubt down on the guild level.

My problem is not the nerfs come morrowind. Not the sale model of calling it a 'chapter'. Nothing so bombastic and new.

- Crafting consistently becomes less relevant with each patch, the only resurgence being Housing and that did nothing for the gear aspect of the crafts. Provisioning and Alchemy are nigh essential but anyone can do it with little investment. Enchanting takes more investment than those, and is technically essential but has no rewarding feeling to it. Equipment crafts ride a fine line wherein a couple of sets are useful sometimes (outside of levelling 1-cp160 or whatever) and being entirely unwanted, most of the sets are entirely forgettable and hold no purpose other than being a worse version of another set. Despite this, ZOS STILL tries to shove more and more motifs down our throats. It taunts me, I want to use the motifs to look a particular way but I will always do it knowing that I am gimping myself in the process.
- Stability. I could stop right there and most of you would know what I mean. Even on a strong PC, ESO has at least occasional performance issues. Innapropriately times loadscreens, framerate tanks, disappearing particle effects. On a weaker PC, or one of the consoles, performance during peak PvP or even Trials or vDungeons can tank to unplayably low, crashes are abundant, textures will fade in and out with no discernible reason. If one does not live near to the EU or NA server, 200ms+ base pings await regardless of your internet service.
- The grind. This one doesn't effect me too much personally, but it sure gets to friends. I know, I know. 'earn your gear' 'no fun in getting everything for free/instantly'. I agree with that. Then again, those thoughts falter when I watch someone run the same exact content for their hundredth, two hundredth, five hundredth... time, with no view of ever actually obtaining the item they desire in sight. It's abysmal, and I can't blame them when they want to step away from the game (temporarily, or otherwise)
- Stam/Mag/Health/Hybrid. Stamina is always strong thanks to some inherent damage and better access to run/dodge/block, but their group utilities disappoint. Magicka gets to deal singletarget dps, AoE dps, provide themselves shielding and healing, and the group other utilities. Health(tank) builds had better pick up some of each or both, or be a useless spud. Trying to hybridize kind of works, maybe, sometimes, you know if you try doing this that and the other thing on the night of a new moon. All around, class identity is neither strong enough to feel good or weak enough to feel unimportant. It doesn't feel right, at any point.

This things are consistent, and consistently moving in a direction away from where I'd like.

happy or not i will keep playing

I feel in love with the game way back when it was released. Many things were improved since then (Crime System, Riding Skill per character, One Tamriel, Veteran Ranks removed etc) but balance has been going downhill for quite a while.

The game is advertised as "Play the way you want to play" but the reality ingame is the opposite.

Problems I am not happy with and that are ignored like forever:
- Animation Canceling:
Many people claim it to be "skillfull" but for me it makes the game feel broken and not fun when I play as DD.
- Weapons are not all viable:
Want to play a combo that makes sense like Bow/2H or 2H/2H? Well think again because in ESO you are bound to the one performing Stamina DD combo of DW/Bow.
All weapons should perform about equally for their role. (e.g. every combination of DW, Bow, 2H for Stamina DPS chars)
- Balance between all available Sets:
There are not just some sets being a bit better, there is just BIS, 1-2 Beginner pieces and the rest is apparently "junk".
- Balance between Magicka and Stamina:
It's been up and down between the two and one has always been way superior over the other each time.
- Difference between Casual and Top Players:
With all the mentioned above I have never played a game where the difference between those have been as big as in ESO.
Casuals are barely able to pull 10k DPS and are locked out of harder content like DLC dungeons or trials.
Top players on the other hand are pulling 40k+ DPS and are bored by how easy the content is for them.
- Potions make certain skills useless:
Some skills are never used anymore because everyone just uses potions to get the same effect and just slots more Dots.
- Balance between Classes:
Some classes performing better as others in certain roles just should not be the case. Every class can have their flavour but it should not be mandatory to play just one certain class to perform a role (e.g. Templar for healer, Sorcerer for Magicka DPS etc).
We are seeing the first improvements in this area with Shards/Orbs however.
- Overland content and non DLC normal dungeons are too easy (even for the casual player)
Since powercreep has gotten higher and CP were introduced overland content has turned into a joke.
- RNG Loots system:
This not fun for any player. It's a pain when things get rebalanced as well.
They should have changed the loot system a long time ago.


This does not mean I will stop playing but I'll probably stick to my Healer main.

People have said this with every single previous update/dlc and NOTHING has beem done - don't hold your breath....

They really know how to waste money, if they were as good at using it as wasting it we would have spellcrafting, justice system pvp, jewelcrafting, etc...........rather than patch after patch of pointless changes and cash grab BS. Their market is quite clear these days so expect more trash; was watching likebutter (division streamer) yesterday and his group were straight in the cash shop, complaining about how the game was ass, running into endless bugs and game breaking issues whilst still buying crates for vanity items/gems for mounts. Sucked the god damn life out of me.
