    Get a Masters bow if you don't feel like bow isn't competitive in PVP. Get a Maelstrom's bow if you think bow isn't competitive in PVE. As for 2h...All I have to say is Rally.

    Im pretty sure itll be some more irrelevant things that dont need nerfing lol if they gonna make us heavy attack they need to speed up the animation and increase the resource regen from it

    Reverse their abhorrent changes to Sustain, Cost Reduction, Medium/Light armor, Light/Heavy Attacks... basically everything they've done to make resource sustain non-existent in the PTS...

    I'm pulling close to 30k DPS on a stam DK 2H heavy attack build with a super-simple rotation on PTS. I can only get my stamblade up to about 33 using Maelstrom Weapons and Rapid Strikes.

    2H might actually be viable as-is, especially considering the built-in cleave damage.

    • Bow heavy attacks behavior changed to match that of other weapons (casting an ability while channeling it will fire the ability and the heavy attack as soon as the heavy is fully charged)
    • Changes to light / medium armor reverted, Constitution changed to 80% of its current Live value.
    • Siphoning strikes cost changed to magicka. Restores both 500-600 stamina and magicka on light attack.
    • Leeching strikes reworked into something that's not complete trash
    • Redguard's Adrenaline rush readjusted to be beneficial below 30k stamina compared to live value.
    • Heavy attack animations fixed (we can always dream...)
    • Proc sets made to crit again. All values readjusted to prevent specific sets from overperforming (*cough* Ilambris Grothdarr Tremorscale w/e *cough*) #MakeAshenGripGreatAgain
    • Cauterize (morph of Inferno) provides Major mending for 3s when healing a target below 50% HP, can target the caster, throws 2 fireballs.
    • Trial performance has been fixed, rejoice consolers!
    • Drop rate of monster-specific trophies increased (totally not farming this achievement right now)
    • Drop rate of Ancient Orc, Abah's watch motifs increased.
    • Number of scamps of both types required for their respective kill count achievements (Imperial City) reduced to 1/5/20 (down from 1/50/100).
    • Number of items that can be sold at a fence daily increased by 100%.
    • Introduced Elemental prisms. Prisms allow you to set the element of the staff you're using by placing it in your offhand while wielding a staff - frost / fire / lightning / light (restoration). This is a way to drastically reduce the RNG for weapon drop rates and not spend 500 days farming for a specific weapon.
    • PTS value of the Siphoneer CP star has been decreased by 66%, to compensate for it countering 3 other stars.
    • Increased the cap of items you can use in your House by 50% for all values.
    • Increased by 100% the number of players that can visit each type of house at any given time.
    • Khajiits' tails are now 42% fluffier.

    There are other things obviously, all I can think about right meow.

    Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

    All we need is stam sustain added back to Siphoning Attacks and dps buffs for PvE in ways that don't impact PvP (the grim focus suggestion hugely impacts PvP).

    All we need is stam sustain added back to Siphoning Attacks and dps buffs for PvE in ways that don't impact PvP (the grim focus suggestion hugely impacts PvP).

    Disagree, the changes on siphon supports either build, like every other class. Even Templars don't get a skill that returns both. This puts us in line with all other class in update 14.

    What you don't recognize is our biggest issue for DPS is our rotation is extremely wonky. Extending the duration of path to 12 to 15s makes our rotation much easier since path is usually off bar. Grim focus has a similar issue, it's usually off bar and it's animation and required double cast reduces our damage in both time to cast and that the second cat does no damage.

    I completely agree on the weakness of Grim Focus. In PvE, right now, it's borderline useless. The 50 extra stam regen from Minor Endurance is almost worthless in combat. Minor Berserk is not useful in a group. And the bow proc is just too unreliable.

    But Siphoning Attacks needs to change. It should be changing today in v3.0.2, actually, but I pretty strongly believe that the stam return morph should cost Magicka. A stamina Nightblade has 2 buffs and they both cost stamina and they're both weak. It makes no sense.

    I'm not so upset with minor berserk, I do think we should excel in DD DPS which means less group friendly buffs.

    I do like the idea of the return buff costing the opposite stat, good offload to recovery (which would offset almost neglible return, which is further complicated by our wonky rotation) and favors stamNB as stamina NBs have much less need for magicka, while magicka does need stam for CC break and sneak. Given the favoritism towards magicka this patch, I think this actually balances us internally very well with just a small change.

    Based on what they said on ESO live. I don't think they will be touching Grim Focus any time soon.
